We have spent 3 days in Dubai on the way to Singapore, and one night on the way back to Europe. Dubai is very impressive - structures, roads, facilities. We rented a car and drove around - easy driving, broad highways, very clear road signs and we visited all famous city monuments. We asked ChatHPT to propose a visit schedule for 3 days, with attractions grouped by distance and got an excellent plan. In addition, we took a local guide for a half day city tour - worthwhile. Huge malls for shopping fans and traditional markets for local ambiace. Dubai and Abu Dhabi, both were great. Beach and night club Bla Bla were too good, Dubai Mall too big and Burj Khalifa waiting was slightly uncomfortable. Desert safari was nice but the dinner afterwards was a very crowded, inconvenient affair. Dubai city tour was not up to mark, in fact we thought there was some commercial interest between guide and a craft ware seller. Miracle garden and Global village were awesome ! We both have worked in the Emirates for 25 yrs, repatriating 2017, and yet still have been back for 2 visits per year, approximately 14 days each time so I think it says a lot for our love of Dubai....extremely clean, safe, well organised contemporary city, friendly, with huge choice of tourist venues, great hotels and varied restaurants.....incredible foresight/ vision of the ruling family....
