The staff were all very pleasant, dining was buffet style with a good selection to suit all palates. Not gourmet but very acceptable. The a la carte restaurant I didn’t experience but heard good reports.
The beach? Is long, wide and lovely and calm water for swimming but not very well maintained. Not raked every morning and tufts of grass and weeds are beginning to take over.

The property is looking very tired and the food is average. The drinks were plentiful and excellent as were the staff.

I highly recommend South Coast Horizons to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in Antigua. The sea views are amazing and the staff very kind and helpful.
The facilities are excellent, kitchen area good with all the equipment you need for a holiday, beds and bedroom areas very comfortable and spacious, the pool really is the cherry on the top, very good value for money.

We waited over 40 minutes after check in for someone to take us to the room. We weren’t allowed to go by ourselves. There was only 1 portier on the duty for the entire Resort. After complain - general Manager took us finally there. On the way back - nobody helped us with the luggage- there were 3 portiers at this time sitting and doing nothing. When we highlighted the lack of support to them - they laughed- it was unbelievable! Never seen anything rude like that!!!
Food in the buffet very poor. Very little choice - no vegetables for breakfast at all.
Location of the resort is nice - views beautiful.
There are many more better resorts on the island for the better price.

Our host, Tiziano, was very accomodating to our check-in/out times and keeping our luggage. The area is super safe and there is a really nice restaurant nearby, in addition to the Jolly beach a walking distance from it.

Excellent location with great sunbathing swimming options.
Excellent location with great sunbathing swimming options. You can watch the pelicans swooping and diving all day. Super chalets with very comfy beds. Plunge pool a lovely option for a refreshing dip. Wonderful staff and lovely dining. Food options varied and catered to all needs. I really had no complaints - it’s fantastic value for money.

Apart from eating inside the hotel, we had a dinner in the adjacent restaurant which is privately owned, called sheer rocks, this is a lovely restaurant and we thoroughly recommend it. Other guess that we met also recommended the restaurant at the end of the beach called Denis’s.
We also walked the short 15 minute walk long road (which is perfectly safe) to Darkwood beach which is a wonderful white sand beach and well worth a visit

RENT A CAR! Nothing is walkable and taxis are expensive.
RENT A CAR! Nothing is walkable and taxis are expensive. A car will give you freedom. Wish we had so we could have explored more without breaking the bank. The airport taxis are $50USD one way so for as week that $100 may be near half your total rental.

Lovely upper pool with fantastic view, but often full.
Sheer Rocks restaurant was a great bonus, right there in the hotel!
Cocktails nice and strong.
Good to have an option of panini's if you didn't feel like going to the same restaurant three times a day.
A la carte menu in the restaurant had good options, although it was a bit hit and miss.
Concierge service was a great help with booking taxis etc.
Coffee bar was nice with a little shop and sweet treats.
We loved everything about this hotel! The service was wonderful and genuine, the food was fantastic - you will not go hungry here and there was a good selection of local dishes which we were keen to try, and the coffee shop is a great touch. The views are stunning all around the hotel, but in particular from the infinity pool and the sunsets on the beach are spectacular.
Very friendly staff, complimentary (room) upgrade, super coffee service in the morning, very good a la carte options, very tasty food, super drinks, for an all-in-inclusive a super hotel, we will come back. Extraodinary service and friendliness,
- The location was amazing!
- The views were spectacular from the pools, restaurant, and room.
- The hotel was beautiful and lovely and tucked away.
- The perfect holiday setting.
