    Right in the heart of the beach area of Durres. Nice restaurants, currency exchange, bars, and strolls are all nearby. For longer journeys, the hotel's front desk can arrange for a taxi, which will meet you approximately 100 yards from the front entrance.

    Durazzo is love.

    Durazzo is love. It has a very high energy especially in the Vollga area from the Venetian Tower following the coast to Kallm where there are very nice beaches immersed in wild nature, between sea and hills. I love walking along the seafront in Vollga and sitting down to drink organic tea in the bars along the sea. You can eat very well and a quiet dinner at Aragosta is ideal for couples. You can also eat well at 4 seasons, Arturo, Piazza or Due guitarre. After dinner you can drink a cocktail with live music or with a DJ in bars like Acqua, Marquezz, Oma or C'Est la Vie located on the sea

    The beach and early morning walks along the beach. Lovely sunsets and sun rises. I didn't like all the stray dogs especially around Durres beaches sometimes in packs. Most seemed friendly but its not what I'm used to. I didn't eat out on this occasion but all the bars and restaurants looked top notch. I loved the supermarkets and for some reason they were a lot cheaper down towards Durres beach areas than in the centre of Durres. Lots of site seeing can be done in the centre and there is a shopping centre (I didn't have time to look in there). You can go walking/hiking into the hills. I was on a solo trip and everyone was so helpful. I came by the mini Airport bus which was fine. It was hard to work out the local buses and they cannot be found easily using searches or apps on mobile phones. The buses are so cheap just one price to get around, you board and a ticket person will come to you for payment. I went in November it so was lovely and peaceful. I would go again around that time.

    Amazing historic city.

    Amazing historic city. Plenty to do, but also lovely just to relax and soak up the atmosphere. Lots of fantastic restaurants and cafes, didn't have a bad meal over our whole stay. Can't recommend booking a walking tour enough. It was a great way to find our feet and learn about such an interesting place.

    Beautiful beach and hot weather.

    Beautiful beach and hot weather. We walked up and down each day. Wide variety of bars and restaurants as well as gift shops/stalls. Our favourite place to visit every day was The Fisherman’s Net. The owner and staff are lovely friendly and welcoming people.

    Nice to walk around a normal city, not overrun by tourists. It was pouring rain one day - unfortunately not a lot to do indoors (No art gallery, cinema or live music - in the second largest city!)

    very nice place to end our Albania-trip. the girls in the hotel are lovely and the dog, we thought about dog-napping, but…no. Beatiful room with sea-view, nice breakfast! Best of all - superrelaxed!!! Sunchairs across the street is free (for 2 pers) and swimming is possible. Nice sandy beach 15 minutes walk north in the little ”port”. Good sea-food at the little restaurant at the pier by the sandy beach. Would I like to come back ….. YES!

    The location is superb, close to the private beach, to the shops and restaurants; the size of the apartment, that had a balcony, the host who was the friendliest and sweeteest guy, he did all his best to make us feel comfortable. The prices are more than pleasant, the quality of goods is very high, the people around are nice and helpful. We liked the holidays so much that we will come back to visit Albania once more for sure.
