The hosts were lovely, Arianna speaks perfect English and is very attentive. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are perfectly clean and modern with a private bathroom. They even gave us a heater for the room. The dining area is kept warm with a fire. Their dog Lila is lovely to cuddle and pat of an evening. The food was divine, we both ate dinner there, which was a main dish and several side dishes. There was a vego (€10) and meat (15€) option. Breakfast was pancakes and eggs. The location is slightly off the beaten track, but this adds to the charm. It is a great location for the theth to valbone trailhead. It also has a beautiful view of theth from above.

The location was perfect for starting the hike to Theth, being one of the closest guesthouses. The family were also very friendly and welcoming, providing orange juice on arrival and lighting a fire as the sun set. Breakfast was included, dinner for 2 was optional at 35 euros in total. They also offered a packed lunch for 2 people for 5 euros. This included a borek and a sandwich with cheese and cucumber. The rooms were cozy and quaint and quite homely.

Rooms are nice, well kept and modern, showers have nice water and good pressure. They have a fuel pump, shop and restaurant on site. It’s a fantastic location which is easy to get to, as soon as you come down the mountain roads. Easy access to local hiking routes. The restaurant does fantastic lunch and dinners which we really enjoyed. The staff are super friendly and helpful, we had a language barrier but it really was no problem at all. Beautiful views and surroundings to wake up to. Highly recommend you book this!

Vidis Chalet was likely our most expensive stay in Albania, but still represented great value for money. The view from the hotel is probably unsurpassed in Theth, and while we were unlucky with the weather, the comfort was superb. Great variety for breakfast, and also serves probably the best meals in Theth. If you are looking to treat yourself, then this is the place to go. Mira and the gang are very attentive and committed to ensuring everyone enjoys their stay.

Nice location with spectacular views. Family owners are great persons. Rooms are simple, but enough good. Home made breakfast and dinner are great. Free parking and WiFi. Here is not AC, but additional blankets available in wardrobe.
