I especially want to highlight the positive energy and warmth of the person at the reception — they truly made a difference. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The rooms are clean which is the most important thing. The beach is close and everything is nearby. The owners are here all the time and they are so nice, that's a big plus, you feel more security and whatever you need they are here. The most important our boy was like at home. See you at the next visit for sure.

I must stay this is the BEST hotel in the area. My husband and I stayed there 3 nights 13-16th Oct 2024. Everything was just perfect for us. The front desk staff were amazing! A BIG THANK YOU to Alda and Neta! The location is fantastic right on the beach with amazing views. The breakfast food was great with a lot of choice. It was so lovely meeting other guests over breakfast from various European countries i.e Netherlands /Germany /Sweden /Italy/ Poland, during conversing with them in English it was great to hear their compliments about Amare hotel. Overall, we had an excellent stay and looking forward to returning in the summer.

    I booked to stay only 3 nights in Shengjin but I extended a further week as I enjoyed being able to walk on the beach with my dog and I found a lovely beachside restaurant (Poseidoni) that does incredible fresh food at great prices and is very welcoming. It was a nice place for me to just chill out for a little while before continuing my trip.

    It is hard ti pay by credit cards. In supermarkets thera are no prices. When you buy some goods you must pay attention to a bill. There are marked much more things than you bought - for example instead 5 beers there are eight. A box of cheese not one but two etc. In the morning price is one in the afternoon another. There was a piza restaurant and they did not accepted albanian leks. They wanted euro. Too enormous buildings. Definitelly not recomend it.

    Dirty City, lot of gabrage on the beach, very dirty water...

    Dirty City, lot of gabrage on the beach, very dirty water and sea. Constarction noise everywhere, not save place, loud music not for family and baby, be carefull with food, we get sick with gastro virus, we went in hospital with our baby. Never again!

    Great sandy beach and shallow sea for about 20 meters which makes it perfect for little children. But the people leave garbage behind them although there are lots of garbage containers. Cheap prices and a lot of places to eat. Anyway, would not go there on vacation once again.

    We only stayed two days, but would not go back again. The beach was crowded and dirty, wind blew an odor of sewage... There is a lot of extremely nice places in Albania, but this one is not one of them.

    Shengjin is a booming tourist location, with both hotels and...

    Shengjin is a booming tourist location, with both hotels and apartment buildings on offer. Numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes cater to all tastes and styles. Restaurant Detari was our top choice for seafood; restaurant and pizzeria Hasi I Prizrenit for continental meals. Our favorite café in the town was Soluna, because of the stylish, laid-back atmosphere. The children adored the amusement park (200-300 leks per ticket ride) and the ice-cream vending machines. The whole beach stretch has a well-lit pedestrian pavement next to it, ideal for early morning jogging and late-night walks. The beach zone with more lush vegetation is to the left of the town. But, our favorite beach was Rana e Hedhun, accessible by car, between the complex Cristi and camping Joel, because of the cleaner waters, wider sand strip, and pine scent. We thought of going to the Kune island, but the road was gated at the end, and vegetation on the way went from pine trees to just shrubs and grass, and so, desisted.
