The room smelled cigarettes, it was so bad no perfume or air purifier could fix it
The room and hallways were not properly cleaned. Since it was too late the reception didnt answer and there was no room change. They offered us a breakfast.
Parts of the hotel are under construction and looks a bit inattentive.

The places to visit were according to our expectations, the prices for food (5 star hotel's restaurant) are between 8-12 euros/person. If you want to buy something there's no prices displayed (maybe are traditional practices) nowhere, neither in the airport so you should ask. The weather wasn't stable but overall pleasant because it wasn't windy. Be careful when crossing streets, the patience of the drivers are 1 to 0 from 10 😅

Albania is more for the nature, Tirana could be done in a day or two depending on what you want to do. I was remote working, so not bad for me as I explored in the evening, but if you're on vacation, give it 2 days and head to Theth or somewhere else in the nature.

We had a great time exploring Tirana!
We had a great time exploring Tirana! The city is incredibly walkable, making it easy to discover its many attractions. The public transportation is also efficient and affordable. We found the locals to be incredibly friendly and eager to share their city with visitors. The food was delicious and very affordable, and there were plenty of options to suit all tastes. We recommend visiting the Pyramid of Tirana for a unique perspective on the city, and taking a stroll through the Grand Park of Tirana for a relaxing escape from the city bustle. Tirana is a hidden gem in the Balkans, and we highly recommend adding it to your travel itinerary.

A new hotel in the heart of Tirana, on the main boulevard of the city, in the vicinity of the Prime Minister's Office and facing the President's Office, just 6-7 minutes' walk away from the Main Square (Skanderbeg Square). Very hight quality 5-star hotel, with spacious and clean rooms, good sound isolation (street noise is completely excluded), strong WiFi, good air conditioning, big and nice garden with pool, as well as very kind and responsive staff. Breakfast is also superb.
Amazing location just a stone throw away from the city centre and all must see places and stuff in Tirana. Very helpful and approachable people on reception - a brother and sister working together, we had a nice talk and they even advised me where I can enjoy a traditional Albanian food and because I told them I want to go to the sea for one day only, where should I catch the bus for the seaside as well :). Phantastic, phantastic experience, highly recommend!!!
Stayed at villa murati on the start of our Albanian travels. Elvis is a great host and is so helpful. You are a 25min walk from the centre of Tirana. Mini market around the corner for small items, eggs, milk, coffee, beer etc And on the way back from the city centre you have fish shops, meat shops and fruit and vegetables shops. Plenty of kitchen space for making breakfast etc. Very comfortable and space for off-street parking if you have a car.Excellent.
Amazing Hotel situated in private residential area (u can access free telling to the security man at the entrance that u have a reservation at the Hotel), in my opinion one of the best Hotel in Europe and the best one in Albania.
The permanent in the hotel is like an experience that u must have to try.
Room with an amazing design and view on the city; incredible rooftop with restaurant and swimming pool; private parking lot; very quiet area.
The room is very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The location of this hotel is about 15minutes away from the airport with taxi. It’s not close to the city centre so if you want to explore Tirana and you don’t have a car it might be difficult since there are no public transportation.
