It's a family business. The owner was very friendly and hosted a bonfire with complimentary wine, cognac and some snacks. Breakfast was a spread we could not even attempt to finish. The room is modern and absolutely beautiful.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the decor was modern and stylish. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the polite and attentive staff. The hotel has a great location — it's situated in the forest, near the Aghstev River. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, but the one in the living room wasn’t. However, the staff quickly solved the problem by adding another mattress for the second night, and my daughter was able to sleep better.

    We came to Dilijan at the beginning of the off-season period...

    We came to Dilijan at the beginning of the off-season period so many things that would have been open earlier were not available, but what we saw we liked. My daughter had visited 2 weeks earlier and found the place much more lively.

    Dilijan is a walker's paradise- although it could do with...

    Dilijan is a walker's paradise- although it could do with investment - it could easily be a major international attraction for hikers. It's also perfect for a day trip ( or two) from Yerevan. There are several excellent eateries, and it's great to breath the fresh mountain air. It's a real jewel.

    My problem is not with Hotel Dilijan Resort.

    My problem is not with Hotel Dilijan Resort. The problem is with Booking.com. I clearly indicated I wanted a single standard room. But reaching hotel, I found in the hotel booking a family room which was basically a two bedroom apartment with huge sitting room and costing 4 times the cost of a single room. At that time, there was no way I could officially ascertain what was my original booking. If one is not carefully to cross check over and over before completing the booking, Booking.com will saddle you with a room option you did not pick in the first place which you will only notice when it is too late. This has happened to me before

    Dilijan is a corner with divine forests and mountains. Magic view and utmost fresh air. You may enjoy the air and peaceful environment if you are leaving a noisy and dirty air towns. You may walk and discover interesting corners, try the Armenian dishes in the restaurants and enjoy the beautiful view of mountains around.

    We stayed one night, on our drive towards Tblisi.

    We stayed one night, on our drive towards Tblisi. But we shoudl have stayed 2-3 days instead in Dilijan. The nature is spectacula. We went horseback riding wiith Dilijan Horseriding. An absolute must do! We ate dinner at Kchuk restaurant, an absolute explosion of delicious flavors! The wine was from Karabagh, and was sooo smooth. We stayed one night at the cutest, comfortabe Cozy House. Imagine spending a night in Elfin like surroundings. Clean, beautiful and welcoming.

    Loved everything about this quirky, well run hotel. It was the best hotel in our Armenian holiday. Staff are extremely friendly. Check in was quick, easy and shared all information needed. Children’s play area was a little bonus. The room is fantastic. Beds are cozy and we slept well. The breakfast in the picnic basket is a fantastic touch. They said the restaurant will be opening soon which would have just made this stay 10/10. They said the menu will be as unique as their hotel. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.

    Clean and comfortable rooms. Serene location, nice views to the beautiful surrounding mountains. Freshly prepared delicious breakfast. Overall a very good choice for Dilijan. We arrived at the hotel very tired after being harrased at the Georgian- Armenian border crossing because of our nationality, on top of that we had our reservation rejected by an "ecohotel" around lake Sevan for the same reason, but Ms. Asia s warm greeting and hospitalty provided us great comfort and pleasure.
