If you want to get away from it all and recharge, this is it! The facilities are impeccable. The service is amazing. The food is to die for. The location is paradise. The wellness area is spotless.

Beautiful village. The ski is intermediate level and the runs are limited. Probably not quite enough for a week in all honesty. More of a 5 day resort. Not for beginners as not enough longer blue slopes.

If you’re looking for a family friendly hotel in Alpbach...
If you’re looking for a family friendly hotel in Alpbach this is for you. Fab facilities, the indoor pool and family spa were a big hit with our children. Food was great, children’s buffet was a winner, adult options were also delicious. Be aware drinks are not included, not even soft drinks, so you do get a bill at the end. The staff were all very friendly and spoke great English. Location was great. We drove from the UK and the use of the underground garage was free and fab. If you don’t have a car then the ski bus stops right outside. For anyone with children learning to ski, there is a fab blue learner run in town walkable from the chalet. Our children had it to them selves both times used. If you like a softer mattress be ware the beds are quite hard, and only 1 pillow each. Luckily we had spare pillows in the car my children used to sleep on to make the sofa bed feel slightly softer. Otherwise fantastic stay, and would definitely stay again.

Alpbach is a great choice for a holiday - walking or skiing. Close to the gondola station (short free bus ride away) and lovely choice of restaurants and eateries in the village, The Church is beautiful.

Beutiful views and a few skiing/ hiking possibilities around. There is only one slope for kids/begginers in the village of Alpbach but there is a skibus free for guests that leaves to the closest mountain (7min away) every 10-30 min. The town is cosy and not crowded (we were there in the first week of February). There are several restaurants but they have short/strange opening hours. Luckily, there is also a supermarket.
We came by train to Brixlegg and manage to get around with kids and without a car but I would recommend having one.

Smallish village, with outsize skiing.
Smallish village, with outsize skiing. Fairly large ski area - we skied for 4 days, could easily do a whole week. Not a huge amount in the village, but some pleasant restaurants. Relatively easy to get to without a car - train from Innsbruck, then mountain bus. Beautiful unspoiled Alpine village.

The hotel is overall good. The spa is very nice, the food is nice and the team try to accommodate any dietary needs . The room was comfortable with the exception of the unusual bathroom where the sink is pretty much in the shower. If Wifi is important to you this is poor. The staff are friendly but the service at dinner and the bar is a bit disorganised so be patient.
The apartments where beautiful and clean. Better then expected! The family who runs it is very nice and looks well after the guests (and property). If we’re going back to Alpbach, we’ll definitely stay here again!
Beautiful and quiet location with uninterrupted views over the valley, modern Austrian style and very spacious. Comfortable beds. Great local schnapps for sale. Exceptionally nice hostess.
Beautiful location, clean hotel and nice staff with a caring owner. Very good breakfast and dinner with good selection of courses. Comfortable beds! Multingual staff.
