Nice small town with a camp, beach, very close to the Slovenian border and the Karavanks mountain ridge (along the border of Austria and Slovenia). It's quite comfortable to get around on foot. Unfortunately when we arrived the one window in the room was open and we had at least.20 mosquitos in the room. One would think screens on windows in this area would be a must. The room was adequate for our needs, but not really clean, with a very small bathroom The couple operating the hotel obviously is working hard to manage the operation. Located on the edge of the village, the hotel is quiet and peaceful despite being close to the road. Our room keys and a hotel map were ready for us at the reception, making check-in quick and convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I arrived quite late and I received a code to get in. Very helpful with providing a taxi/ transfer to hotel. Superb location, beside bus and train routes. Fabulous panoramic views from the balcony room. A vibrant farmer’s market on Thursday nights until late o’clock, 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
