Location is spot on. Close to Vienna and in the middle of the wine region. Cleanness is really top. Restaurant serves very tasty food and has an excellent choice of regional wines. Staff at the reception was very helpful. We used their suggestions on our short tour of the region. Beauty farm complete and very well appointed. We enjoyed it very much. We plan to go back soon.

Breakfast is very good, with many options and with local products. Coffee self-served all day. Located at a very calm street, about 5 min walk to the centre. Parking available off the street. Owners are kind, speak English. It was our second stay and not the last.

We chose Illmitz as a starting point for our birdwatching tours. The accommodation is well located for this purpose, as it doesn't take long to get to the National Park's trails - both on foot and by car (ideal for bikes). The second day we rather went by car to get to more birdwatching posts, as the trails are quite long. We managed to find two large flocks of migrating cranes, which was great. The room itself is not large, but you can find here all you need for a short stay. Although the furniture is not bran new, everything is perfectly clean. There is a shared fridge outside the room in the barn, which is quite handy. The bed was a little bit soft for us, but it's that we prefer rather hard matresses. The breakfast was fantastic, plenty of everything, we loved the homemade jams, especially the apricot+chilli combination. There are various maps available in the room, and the owner is very kind and helpful, ready to give you any advice. A perfect price-comfort ratio.
