Ideal location right in the middle on Mondsee! Wonderful breakfast buffet and an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner meals (note the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Its a few minutes' walk to the Cathedral, the lake and lot of shops and restaurants. Easy parking on site. Family owned and operated. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to our needs.

The family-run Seehotel Pöllmann is located right on the bank of the Irrsee lake in the Salzkammergut region. It offers rooms with balconies, a spa area and free Wi-Fi.

Beautifully set by a lake reached through a large lawn garden. Elegant entrance with elevator. Large clean bedroom with balcony and view on the lake and green rolling hills. Generous breakfast served on the terrace. The owners managers were most courteous and helpful.

    Our Hostess was very friendly and helpful. She is also perfect at cooking boiled eggs for breakfast. The hotel has its own Lakeside Cabin for swimming which was wonderful. Great old fashioned service.

    Off season Mondsee looks like a huge house for elderly. Almost everything was closed, apart from a few restaurants in the middle of the city. Everything on the beach is closed from january to february.

    Amazing location, beautiful nature, gorgeous lake and the mountains offered perfect walking tours. Local people were nice too :) The centre of the city is small and pretty, many pubs with great wine and food. The location as well as the nature were well taken care off and clean. Totally worth visiting: Observation tower Kulmspitz We will for sure come back to explore more.

    We were before Christmas, and at this time it is definitely worth going to this city for half a day! The center is small, but very nice, there is a small Christmas market, mostly with food, a very beautiful Basilica, and of course, the lake itself deserves a walk to it. After a two-hour walk, a good lunch at a local cafe or right at the market, and here is the minimum plan completed! In the summer, for sure, the program will be different.

    Mondsee is a pretty small town from which it is easy to explore the other lakes and towns in the Salzkammergut region. Highly recommend the Seecafe for its view right on the lake. There were many shops offering the traditional Austrian "Tracht," so if you've always wanted to buy a Dirndl, this is your big opportunity.

    We have spent wonderful days in the hotel. The staff was very nice, we accidentally left my luggage at home, and they gave me a phone charger for the week, I really appreciate it! We spent most of the time cycling around the region, in the evenings the sauna was a great place to relax. The breakfast was versatile and delicious. Definitely reccomend this place!

    Very friendly host, convenient location, excellent view on the Mondsee, the apartment is new and has thoughtful design. There is a fireplace which is easy to use, fast warming and clean sauna and a lot of books around. Everything is set for a relaxing weekend. The apartment is well equipped and charming.

    Fantastic location with a beautiful view of Mondsee and surrounding mountains. Close to good restaurants and a great place from which to explore the Salzkammergut region. Salzburg itself is only 20-25 minutes away and can also be reached easily by bus.

    The hotel was located in the city center very close to the lake. You have easy access everywhere. New, clean rooms and good room equipment. There is a kitchenette in the lobby, so guests can prepare breakfast or warm up food.
