Etmissl was a lovely small village to stay in. The people there were all very friendly. We got lucky and stumbled upon a Maypole celebration that was incredible to watch. The meals in the restaurant were spectacular (e.g. wild garlic ravioli with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce or the lake trout on a bed of stinging nettle risotto). We ate there twice in two days. And one of the owners made a point of coming over to us during the Maypole celebration to explain what the tradition was all about for them.

Very nice guesthouse - Andrea was welcoming and kind. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Big spacious room with equipped kitchen, clean, tidy, cozy and beautiful. Close to beautiful nature, parking available - bed is big and comfortable.
