Vanessa is amazing, so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much and she’s very accommodating.
I think she’s also thought of most things that many places don’t such as cotton buds in the bathroom, fly swatters for those pesky mosquitos which get in no matter how careful you are, and two different coffee makers, one for pods, one for ground.
There are shops within a 5-10 minute drive which include Lidl, Hofa (Aldi), EuroSpar, Billa and Bippa, along with a couple of petrol stations, plus a small shopping centre I didn’t look at.
There’s also a nice short walk along the Alm which was very pleasant and you’re not far from the Vorchdorf Train station and the motorway leading to Vienna and Salzburg.

Stayed there, because it was near to family.
Stayed there, because it was near to family. But Vorchdorf itself has everything you need with excellent supply of all the shopping facilities you would need and more. Surprised, considering the size of the village. Also the closeness to the motorway means it doesn't take long to get anywhere (either the Salzkammergut lakes and mountains or the bigger cities of Wels and Linz, and even Salzburg is less than an hour away).

We had a luxury appartment with wide terrace, the room was perfectly clean and beds were very comfortable. Breakfasts were rich and lot of products was home-made. Hot drinks and home-made cookies are for free for all lenght of the stay. The owner of the hotel is very nice lady, who pays attention to individual needs of every single guest. The pension is perfect for families with children as there are various playgrounds and activities for children in the place. Every appartment has also one shelf in the common refridgerator.
The place was impeccable and the hostess was friendly and very accommodating. We arrived before 10am as we were going to a family gathering and our room was ready for us. The room was pristine and the beds were clean, comfortable and very inviting!!
There was a big variety of food for Breakfast and you could eat until your heart’s content; again the hostess was very attentive towards all the guests. We would come back to this hotel again.
Location 25 minutes from Gmunden and Traunsee lake, we stopped here just for 1 night. Hotels offers correct place to sleep but I would not spend my holidays here since it lacks soul. But you get a lot for the money, including breakfast.
Location, there are plates, cuttlery, soap, toothpaste at the hotel reception that you can take to your room (for free) and put it back once you finish using it (very useful) Nice breakfast (buffet)
