A rather quiet village with a train station situated at the river Inn.
As it was out of season there was not a lot to do.
There are not a lot of shops.
We ate at the hotel and did not see another restaurant, they were closed so it looked.

A pretty little village in Austria linked to another nice village with a castle on top of a hill opposite. Access on foot (or by bike) is excellent. The castle buildings are accessible though not open before 11 am. Great views, well worth a visit if one likes such places.

I had room 16. The view was stunning. River and castle. Two of them :) I was delighted with the room and the small sitting area with huge windows to see the castle while reading a book. Also a balcony which would be my place of stay if visiting in summer. The mattress was so comfortable, just perfect for me. I asked staff in the morning some questions in English and received the answers I was looking for so it was all a very pleasant experience in this hotel. Oh yeah, best key system when arriving late! 😁
Werstein am Inn is one of the most beautiful places in Austria. Amazing small town, which is not true for the hotel. Not sure if there was anything, which I can say was good. Most things were average at best.
Fabulous location and very friendly and inviting hotel and restaurant. The room we booked had a small issue which was seen before our arrival and we were upgraded.
