What a gem Casa Verde is! Not only is the location dreamy, but the hosts are welcoming, attentive and generous. The ecological nature of Casa Verde is quite inspiring. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The Eco retreat definitely exceeded my expectations. Loved the outdoor kitchen and screened area. Kids loved the resident kangaroos and the boardwalk is quite impressive. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We loved the spacious glamping tent, pool and serenity of the place! Great value for money. Only feedback is around the kitchen amenities being a little run down.

AGNES WATER is a very relaxing place to stay, very laid back. My husband and I being in our seventies found it very easy to get around. Also enjoyed 1770 and many attractions on offer. Would certainly visit again.

A great place to holiday and relax.
A great place to holiday and relax. Good shopping with at least two supermarkets and great cafes, especially the pizza restaurant. Numerous good beaches in the area, with Main Beach surf patrol daily and 1770 is just as nice with estuary, beaches, walks. You can understand why Captain Cook stopped there lol.
Take the tour to Lady Musgrove Island and reef.

Agnes Water & 1770 are beautiful little coastal towns that has kept away the big corporations and the temptation of most other beach towns which makes this area the perfect place to get away from the fast paced life we all lead. The area is relaxed, friendly, slow placed and non commercial. With great places to eat, some fantastic live entertainment on the weekends and beautiful beaches and surrounding bushland, you are almost forced to relax and enjoy yourself. Whether for some R&R, a romantic getaway or some Quilty family time, Agnes & 1770 should be at the top of your list.

Agnes Water is a nice little town next to the town of 1770.
Agnes Water is a nice little town next to the town of 1770. It's a great spot for families, fishing, boating and other outdoor activities. There are 4wd tracks to secluded beaches along with the main beach at Agnes Water town centre.

Agnes is a great spot for a relaxing break.
Agnes is a great spot for a relaxing break. Lots of options for coffee. There are some great spots for cocktails although everything closes very early and if you want to eat after 8 you only have servo food.

My favourite hostel! They host dinners each night at a small cost, organised activities each day and bike rentals. This hostel is located in Agnes Waters and is a 30 minute bike ride from 1770. Paperback forest walk is close by, preferable by car. Quiet beaches all the way up to 1770. The hostel has a shuttle which they pick you up from the greyhound bus and are happy to take you around if there’s a group of you who will chip into the petrol cost. I was gutted that I didn’t stay longer here.
In a beautiful, isolated location but easily accessible to the town of Agnes Water and 1770 with our car. Our cabin was clean, had good amenities such as a fridge, basic cooking utilities, modern style bathroom, and a big comfortable bed! The host Sunny was so welcoming and kind, was able to advise us with places to visit near by. Such good value for money, cannot recommended this stay enough. Also his dog made our stay even more enjoyable than it already was!
The staff was kind and friendly, they gave us tips for tours, food and attractions. The hostel and room were clean. The matt and pillows not comfy but you need to know that as it is a hostel and it's price value. It has a wonderful location between Agnes Waters and 1770. Close to the beach (just a 200 metres walk), they have a pool and they have surf boards. I really recomend this place if you are travelling on a budget. Wonderful staff!
Agnes Water/1770 was our favourite destination of our 2 week QLD vacation. SC Travellers retreat was handily located. Individual cabins had everything we wanted and the layout/setup of the entire site was "funky". Would definitely stay there again if we ever found our way back.
Agnes Waters is the most beautiful place on the planet and the house didn't disappoint. It is a simple home that allows for a very comfortable stay with plenty of room to spread the fishing gear around.
