Just stayed one night on the way to Canberra but was very impressed with Albury. Beautiful walking along the Murray with all the huge trees and the birds. Walked into town with its big wide streets, past the very impressive looking historic Botanic Gardens. Supermarket was open.

Albury is a pretty, quiet town.
Albury is a pretty, quiet town. It is the perfect stop when travelling from Melbourne to Sydney or vice versa. There are plenty of eateries to choose form and the kids love the ice-cream shop. There are stores to browse in and the library and adjacent park is lovely to sit and have a coffee in. We are always happy to visit Albury.

ALBURY is FINE … it is the attitude of the motel manager … and the total failure of the ‘ controlled air conditioning ‘ from the motel … that was the worst feature of this poor standard mote.
I would rather leave it at that … stay there by all means … but I assure you there are friendlier - nicer accommodation locations all over Albury!

I recently stayed overnight in Albury, while travelling to and from Penrith & Geelong, and it was a good experience. The town itself offers a great mix of modern amenities and a charming, small-town feel, making it a perfect spot for both relaxation and exploration. The location of the accommodation I chose was ideal—conveniently located close to local shops, restaurants, and attractions, while still offering a peaceful and quiet environment for a restful stay.
The staff at the hotel were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. From the moment I checked in, they were attentive to my needs and offered helpful recommendations on nearby places to visit, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to keep travelling.
For those traveling by car, parking was easy and convenient, with plenty of space near the hotel. Overall, my stay in Albury was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and accessible destination. Whether you're passing through or spending a few days exploring the area, Albury offers a welcoming atmosphere and plenty to see and do.

I stayed here for one night and I regret only booking for one night. The receptions lady was friendly and had a good sense of humour. The room I booked was reasonably priced I’ll be definitely staying at this hotel again when I go to Albury
Loved the location of this revamped Hotel.
Set close to all the best eateries in Albury and
other places of interest , galleries etc.
Room was warm and clean with most things to hand. Largish building with heaps of parking.
Made this hotel a base for a 3 week visit to Albury. The room was well equipped and cleaned daily. Pool and Spa were perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend for the price.
Cute 1950's Palm Springs inspired hotel. Rooms are older style and original but clean and comfy. Adjoining pub was great and food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.
