I have frequented the Sunshine Coast over the years as I live in Brisbane and my dad lives in Mountain Creek only 10 min away, so have been to Alexander Headland a fair few times. I just think it has a lot to offer with the lovely boardwalk down to Mooloolaba. The beach is very nice all the way along and there is enough food/shops all the way along. A great place to stay,next to Moololaba, easy 15 minutes...
A great place to stay,next to Moololaba, easy 15 minutes walk to Moololaba esplanade for lots of restaurants ,bars and shopping. Lovely beaches to relax and take long walks. 5 minutes from Alexandra surf club and half way between Moololaba and Maroochydore Surf clubs for well priced meals. Easy bus access 2 minutes from the door up and down the coast. We even got the bus to Eumundi market ,50 cent bus fare on the Sunshine coast!!
