This 4.5-star hotel offers free WiFi, free parking and modern accommodation, very close to the CBD, Alice Springs Convention Centre, and Lasseters Casino.

Spacious, well appointed, well maintained, comfortable and really amazing helpful staff. Did note that a celebrity singer and his family were staying there at the same time. That probably says something.

Boasting a bar, shared lounge and views of mountain, Ooraminna Homestead is located in Alice Springs, 38 km from Alice Springs Convention Centre.

A really relaxing, quirky and peaceful stay in the middle of the central Australian outback. Close to the airport and Alice, Ooraminna Station doesn't disappoint, there is a lot to see and do on this property. We were lucky enough to cuddle some baby goats whilst enjoying the pool in front of the homestead. Later that day we saw some wild brumbies, as well as some cattle and Fiona, the resident donkey. The landscape is something else, rocky red dirt, green lush growth, and startling blue skies all lead to amazing sunsets, especially from the lookout. Our cabin was comfortable, had everything we needed including a portable stove, microwave, and fridge etc. We had an amazing night's rest! Whilst the cabins are off the grid, you can get reception around various parts of the property or really strong Starlink wifi at the homestead/pool area. Highly recommend for some fun when in Alice.

Alice Springs is a beautiful country town.

Alice Springs is a beautiful country town. The landscapes are spectacular along with the smells of the gorgeous gum trees. If you love walking there are lots of walking paths to wander amongst the beautiful landscapes. There’s art galleries supporting local artists and lots of places to shop and also a large variety of tours.

Alice Springs is a good starting point to explore the outback. You will also find interesting museums there. A beautiful thing to do is an early morning Ballon flight over the West McDonnel Ranges. The wildlife park was also very nice. For good Korean food go to Simply Korean, 41 Gap Road. For good excursions go to the Tourist Information office in the centre of the town. We also did bike rental. Be sure you lock your bikes well, preferably with more than 1 lock. Little boys tried to steal our rental bikes, but fortunately my holiday neighbour heard them and we used all our four locks, so no bike was stolen.

Loved the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens and the cafe there.

Loved the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens and the cafe there. Also the Alice Springs Desert Park and bird show was wonderful. The country all around Alice Springs with the West MacDonnell Ranges and spring flowers was stunning. Amazing country, so beautiful. The Epilogue Restaurant, Casa Nostra Restaurant were great. The sunset and moon rise from Anzac Hill with views over the town were beautiful. The aboriginal art for sale is amazing.

    We love Alice Springs.

We love Alice Springs. There are so many breathtaking places to visit that are such a short drive from the town. We love being amongst the local indigenous people too, who live closer to their culture than they do in the city. It's a magical place.

The West MacDonnell ranges are a must and just a magical place to visit. We liked our visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Anzac Hill, The Telegragh Station. Didn't have time to explore Alice Springs town much.

"Stay at Alice" is brilliantly located compared to many of the more fancy hotels in Alice Springs. On one side, it looks out to the Todd River and on the other side, you open a door and you're immediately in the centre of town. The rooms were comfortable with good bench space and there are pleasant outdoor areas as well. There's a good Italian restaurant attached to the hotel as well.

The staff was lovely and gave me good tips about what to bring in my tour in the Red Centre and also about the security in Alice Springs. I absolutely loved the decoration and the atmosphere they created in this hostel, one of the coolest hostel I’ve stayed!
