United StatesFacilities are first class and modern.,Hosts are very knowledgeable of Australian and local culture past and present. Breakfast choices covered all the bases. Convenient to a neighborhood restaurant and School of the Air visitors center. Margaret and Alf even helped when we needed transportation.We got some good walks to town center and Todd Mall. Especially Telegraph station. We like to hike. This is a quiet and secluded location.

Alice Springs is a beautiful country town. The landscapes are spectacular along with the smells of the gorgeous gum trees. If you love walking there are lots of walking paths to wander amongst the beautiful landscapes. Alice Springs is a good starting point to explore the outback. You will also find interesting museums there. A beautiful thing to do is an early morning Ballon flight over the West McDonnel Ranges. The wildlife park was also very nice. For good Korean food go to Simply Korean, 41 Gap Road. For good excursions go to the Tourist Information office in the centre of the town. We also did bike rental. Be sure you lock your bikes well, preferably with more than 1 lock. Little boys tried to steal our rental bikes, but fortunately my holiday neighbour heard them and we used all our four locks, so no bike was stolen.Guest review byJohan GoudaNetherlands - Review score8.0

Loved the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens and the cafe there. Also the Alice Springs Desert Park and bird show was wonderful. The country all around Alice Springs with the West MacDonnell Ranges and spring flowers was stunning. Amazing country, so beautiful. The Epilogue Restaurant, Casa Nostra Restaurant were great.
