Room was spotless, felt roomy and as a bonus smelt fantastic. The pool was excellent also. Having bath towels, pool towels and plenty of bedding was great as it saved us needing to pack any.

Perfect location for a couple days of wine tasting. Walking distance along nice sidewalk into Tanunda. Clean and comfortable room with plenty of space and nice in-room amenities. Appreciated the helpful staff, especially Lindy. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage that is set right back from the road in a lovely garden. There was a nice place to sit on the front porch where we all enjoyed wine and nibbles in the afternoon and coffee in the morning. The bathroom has a lovely shower. We went to a Vietnamese restaurant for dinner which was within walking distance of the cottage, FermentAsia, which we would also recommend

The Cheese Factory tasting in main street was outstanding and the local ladies there were so pleasant and helpful.
Excellent quiet location, beautiful town with lots of well maintained historic buildings and homes.
If eating out evenings likely you will need to go to Tanunda for better choice and quality of venue. This was a disappointing aspect given the availability of locally produced food and wine in area.
If self catering, the Supermarket was well stocked.

A nice little town with some lovely old buildings. .
A nice little town with some lovely old buildings. . Staff in the Cheese shop, information centre were friendly and helpful. There are two hotels and other places for meals and a nice little park to sit and eat a sandwich. Can highly recommmend the Brau Haus Hotel , friendly, effcient staff and delicious generous servings of a good choice of dishes.
The town is close to other towns with so many wineries it's impossible to not find some wines to your liking.

Angaston town centre a little run-down but many Barossa towns in the vicinity to make up for it, Many restauarants and cafes.
Nearby wineries, good easy short and long bike and walking trails and quiet driving roads.

Angaston is very central and makes a great stepping off point when you are wanting to explore both the Barossa and the Clare Valleys, It offers restaurants and cafes as well as a general store so you can find all you need for a very pleasurable stay. Its proximity to the other key towns, vineyards and exceptional eateries make it an ideal location. The people in all the outlets we visited were extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Angaston as a place to stay when you visit the region.

Lovely quiet little town. The Cheese company and The Real Pantry were great places to visit and nice people to talk with. Nosh makes great Iced Coffee and Gully Garden has great food, especially the peaches.

Quaint rural town.
Quaint rural town. Lovely architecture to stroll around and admire.
Nice places to eat. Pub meals or cafe for breakfast/brunch.
10 minutes from Tanunda and Nuriootpa so very close to all you might want to visit in the Barossa.
We stayed at the Brauhaus Hotel. Very clean and friendly vibe. Good pub food.
Nosh was the cafe we ate breakfast and it was very nice

This place was a large place enough for 5 couples + an additional foldout. The rooms were generous, and the facilities were good. Coffee machine provided, and it was great to arrive and find milk and bread provided. We were 5 friends on a number of winery tours so it was pretty central to most things. We were also able to walk into Angaston town centre, although there is a bit of a hill on the way back. We even walked from Yalumba which was about a 40 minute walk. Loved the wild birds and views of the property.
Fabulous location at the high end of the gorgeous Main Street in Angaston. Wonderful walking down to cafes, pubs & great local produce stores in this little village. It is a great base to walk the Barossa with access to the trail to Nuriootpa & Tanunda. Apartment is comfortable & warm with outlook on to historic buildings. Sparkling wine & chocolate was a lovely hospitable gesture. We will definitely visit & stay again. Thank you to our host Nicky
The accommodation and provisions provided were appreciated and plentiful. Lots of lil touches that were spot on..welcome bottle of local wine lovely.
Great recommendations on wineries to visit and dinner options .
Swimming pool to cool off a plus
