It is already second YHA accommodation in Australia that makes me happy. All things are here logical, functional, pleasant and nice at the same time. The staff makes you feel like you are in a very good movie where you are the main character.

Great place for families with plenty of activities, scenic outdoor spaces, and fun-filled experiences for all ages. There were even koalas roaming around the park, making it a truly unique and memorable visit!
The beach, the atmosphere, friendly retailers and people.

We had perfect weather while there which I suppose helped to make our stay great.
Our accommodation was in an excellent location, close to beach and shopping strip, a local supermarket walking distance to everything from where we stayed.

Apollo Bay is a beautiful, calm and relaxed place for a holiday. Just an hour from Lorne, and a stone's throw to the Cape Otway national Park, you are surrounded by beauty. The beach is beautifully clean, white sand and calm waters for young or inexperienced swimmers. There are a few good shops in town and a growing foodie scene (highly recommend Coco Indonesian/French restaurant for dinner and dessert). Locals are very friendly, lots of people with dogs along the shopping strip. Definitely book at least 3 nights here and use as a base to tour the local highlights such as Wildlife Experiences, Cape Otway Lighthouse, the 12 Apostles, Cape Otway Fly, waterfalls and more.

We really enjoyed Hopetoun Falls and the redwood grove in the hinterland, which we hadn't visited on previous trips. Can also recommend the food and gin at the Apollo Bay Distillery, another place that was new to us.

There's something for everyone: the beach, the forest, an old lighthouse. A car or vehicle is recommended to reach all the best destinations and to enjoy the scenic drives into the forest or along the seaside. If you stay along the seaside, you can stroll the shops and cafes.

Walking down the street and around the shops was interesting. We had a meal at Chris' restaurant in Skenes Creek one night and other at the Apollo Bay Seafood cafe. The former quite upmarket, but both highly recommendable
Walking around this small township is easy.

Apollo Bay is beautiful for scenery at the nearby lookout.
Apollo Bay is beautiful for scenery at the nearby lookout. Driving up the winding Tuxion road which provides an even more interesting view. Marengo Beach is also a short drive & again a lovely spot to sit in parking area, walk along the sand, even picnic on the sand. The Otway National Park is so close & has walking tracks & the amazing enormous trees. This is a superb area to visit & stay.

We were on roadtrip and stopped over at Apollo Bay for dinner. We realized we couldn't pursue the journey and needed to stay. We booked last minute and the motel was super accommodating and helped with late check in. Huge room, super comfy and clean, everything you need. Super friendly staff. Will definitely stay again when coming back to Apollo Bay.
This motel is in a great location, close to the beach and also close to the main street, easy to find and the room is very clean, quiet and comfortable.
The staff are very friendly, overall a good place to stay, would recommend to anyone who wants stay in Apollo Bay!
extrodinery view of sunset, perfect location for holiday. The house is fully equipment, it has everything I need for a vacation lodge. Apollo Bay is great choice to cape otway park and treetop adventures.
It was very nice for a motel and exactly what we needed. Very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the room was large. It was the standard of a nice hotel room. Great location.
