River Gardens Axedale Pet Friendly Farmstay B&B enjoys a location in Axedale, 15 miles from Bendigo Train Station and 15 miles from Ulumbarra Theatre.

We felt so welcome and at home. The gardens were beautiful and great to explore. The kids loved being able to explore the farm, feed the animals, collect eggs and see lots of baby animals. Our dog also had a great time, he lived out his dream as a farm dog and was well cared for too. The breakfast provided was also delicious.

Lovely place to stay. Indoor Pool, Spa and Sauna was very relaxing with complimentary Pool Towels. Great Sports Bar and Meals were hot, reasonably prices with Nightly Specials and 2 hours of Happy Hour. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Offering a solar-heated outdoor pool and spa pool and free WiFi, Golden Reef Motor Inn is located on McIvor Road, just a 5-minute drive from central Bendigo.

The motel is located close to many of the town attractions. The staff at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. We found the room comfy and clean. Despite being close to the highway, it wasn't noisy at all. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot.

    Very comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom. Room too close to public kitchen area, no noise buffering. There were other accomodation areas that would have been better, but were booked out. Very pretty area, lots of great wineries.

    Beautifully appointed rooms with lots of little luxury...

    Beautifully appointed rooms with lots of little luxury touches including fresh flowers from their garden. Breakfasts were delicious & delivered on time. The surroundings are tranquil & relaxing, and it's about 20 min into Bendigo. Hosts are really attentive & accommodating.
