Barham – 7 hotels and places to stay

Comfort Suites Clubarham Golf Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Barham.

The villas were beautifully maintained and super spacious for a family of 5. The ease of access out to the greenway and view from the lounge and bedroom was lovely to wake up to. The kids had a great time in the pool and were so excited to see kangaroos in the area too. As a family who visits the area regularly from Melbourne and as first time stayers at this venue we will def be back to stay.

The bistro had fabulous food, and I would recommend it to anyone. The Chinese restaurant did not meet my expectations, the food was not what I had expected. It is very easy to get around Barham, with the main shopping area just a block from the accommodation. If you like fishing, the river is not far away, and the new bowling facility is perfect for everyone.

A nice pretty little town on the river . Its very easy to get about a look . Some nice walks along the river. A few nice dining options but bookings required during any holiday periods. We ate at the Barham Club which was nice experience with good food and atmosphere .

Great country town on the Murray.

Great country town on the Murray. Very welcoming and genuine people. Great redgum statue walk along the Koondrook side of the river. Got the best coffee from Stiff Shot Coffee, the little grey and purple van - to die for.

Plenty to do, or quiet and comfortable for a much needed relax and pamper. We were invited to the towns free breakfast on Australia day, which was run by the local lions I think. Lovely place, clean and tidy, with plenty of places to enjoy and to provide food and entertainment, walking distance to most venues. Would recommend a visit to anyone. I have stayed in Barham on several occasions.

    The town has almost everything.

The town has almost everything. Bakery, 2 supermarkets, chemist, 3 pubs, club ect. Golf, bowls, tennis, football, netball, basketball. Great scenery and walks along the Murray river. Well presented and tidy town. Great photo opportunity on sunset of the bridge :-)

Barham and its sister town of Koondrook are in a delightful scenic and historic setting on the Murray River. It has great amenities for a town of its size with hospitality and sporting venues and a pretty good small town shopping centre. I actually much prefer this to the larger busier places along the Murray. The weather is generally pretty good all year round although January and February can be quite warm. The locals are also very welcoming.

Late booking at a fantastic price - we didn't have high expectations but the room was excellent. The whole town of Barham is great, Services Club was a hoot on Saturday night. Room has great towels, toiletries and modern equipment, despite being an a older style motel
