The room was clean and comfortable. Did not have a microwave. No hot water on the Monday morning.
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Bathurst this weekend is $164 or, for a 4-star hotel, $281. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Bathurst for this weekend cost around $276 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Site of famous Mt Panorama car racing track. Many things to do in Bathurst, including historic houses and museums. Nearby towns include Hill End, Sofala and Mayfair Gardens, which are good day trips. Also Zigzag railway accessible. Good dining with several pubs and some good restaurants, plus all the usual fast food outlets. Great location for 3-5 days.

I was visiting my very ill sister so I didn't get to enjoy Bathurst as much as I would like to have. However what I did experience I thoroughly enjoyed, Ben Chifley Motor Inn, Country Coffee & the wonderful staff at St Catherine's Nursing Home who look after my sister Gail, also the taxi drivers.

The room was quite large. It was a studio apartment with a kitchen, separate bathroom (excellent shower & spa bath) that did not fog up and a comfortable king size bed. Fantastic view of the Chase on Mt Panaorama circuit and a balcony. Good on-site parking. Only a short drive into the Bathurst CBD and great access to the track. Great value for size of the accommodation. Air Con worked well keeping us warm during a very cold snap - see photo of hotel with snow clouds.
Staying at this Airbnb was an absolute delight. It’s at the rear of the main home but very quiet and private. Spotlessly clean, fully equipped and lovely little touches that made it truly welcoming and homely.
Shops and restaurants are close by. Totally recommend ‘Church Bar’ for happy hour and the most amazing pizzas!
Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations and we’ll definitely be back!
Liked the character of the hotel, comfortably furnished in a retro way. Local artist work is displayed everywhere. We enjoyed the space of a family room which was roomy and very light. The bathroom wasn’t as modern as the renovated shared bathrooms but was still clean snd functional. Also enjoyed dinner in the pub.
