Jo and the staff were extremely friendly and professional.
I was there for a cycling event and the dedicated secure bike storage was a very welcome and important addition of which i was unaware when booking.
The rooms are comfortable and relatively spacious.

When we'd travel with the kids I'm sure they would have been delighted with the sparkly looking pool and we would have had a BBQ or two in the tidy surrounds. So my "stay" rating might have been a 10 a few decades ago instead of the 8 these days. Booking is easy, the price is in the right range, a/c is effective and tv is intuitive to use. My room was spacious when there's only one (or two) of you and everything is clean and "new" feeling. Beds are comfortable. I don't use or have a mobile so the landline was the original clincher for me - I will have stayed a total of 5 (single) nights in the last two months.

On average, it costs £73 per night to book a 3-star hotel in Beechworth for tonight. You'll pay on average around £85 if you choose to stay in a 4-star hotel tonight, while a 5-star hotel in Beechworth will cost around £164 (based on Booking.com prices).
The Stanley Pub is outstanding! The decor is quirky and beautiful - my favourite combination. The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere warm and casual. The food is spectacular - the duck red curry and the chicken kokatsu were delicious. As always we had a fantastic lunch at the brewery. The pork and fennel (?) sausage pizza is amazing!!! They have a number of “sours” on tap at the moment ….. I loved the berry sour. The larger was great too. There were a number of new places to eat since our last visit - so we will have to come back to check them out. The Gorge is a lovely drive. The cemetery is very interesting. The old asylum on the hill is certainly worth a visit …. a bit spooky (and sad) but historically very interesting.

Beechworth is one of the most beautiful Victorian towns we have stayed in. You are transported back to the gold rush and Ned Kelly days. It is just a wonder to walk the streets, great cafes and hotels, historic precinct and lots of places a short drive away. Highly recommended.

It was great to see the towns buildings are looked after, for generations to come. So they too can hopefully appreciate how our forefathers lived.
It is a terrific location to make day trips to other villages surrounding the area. It is also quite flat so it is easy to walk around the town.

I visit Beechworth quite often.
I visit Beechworth quite often. Sometimes just the day, sometimes I take ny camper and this time it was a sudden decision and I could take my little dog in comfort. There are nice places to eat, and buy clothes, the lake is lovely and there are places of historic and scenic interest in town and further afield. Wineries and gourmet opportunities abound in the area, and it is not very far to Albury for a city shopping spree. The weather is milder than down on the plains. It is a great place for active people, families, and older people, everone really!

We dined at Nicholas Hotel which was superb and definitely worth another visit. We love to visit the honey shop and pick berries at High Grove orchard during visits to Beechworth. There is plenty to see and do for people of all ages.

The caravan park had everything you needed and the proximity to town was just fantastic especially the walks through the bush to get to Beechworth, Beds were comfy and clean and although the cabin was a bit outdated, it had everything we needed for our stay
The boutique hotel from old stables revamped in luxury spa suites was exceptionally comfortable. The room felt homely and warm, and made a welcoming environment especially for us when returning from the snow.
