Great spot for base for silo art tour.
Great spot for base for silo art tour. The people are friendly and the town had everything we needed. Pizza was amazing, dinner at the Northo was great, information agency stayed open for us and was very helpful. Benalla has some wonderful history, go and visit the Visitor's Information Centre. The art gallery is fantastic and my favourite place, they also have a lovely cafe, not open Tuesdays. Very pretty botanical gardens by the art gallery to wander and ponder. The main street has everything you would need on a trip including, banks, clothes, a Reject shop, phone shops etc. It does seem to have a few too many bottle shops and I did notice a few spaced citizens!Guest review byJade RosinaAustralia - Review score10.0

We are a group of veteran golfers who travelled to Benalla for a golf tournament at the Benalla Golf Club. We dined at the Golf Club on 2 nights, where the food and service was excellent. Only stayed in Benalla one night. We got up in the morning to get breakfast and head back to Melbourne. We were pleasantly surprised at the number of options in relation to good cafe's. We chose to try Zeus. It's a café in a warehouse style building. Very nice atmosphere and good breakfast.Guest review byConstantinos

Motels, caravan parks plus other houses and this one is by far the best out there. If your staying because your heading to Winton raceway I highly recommend staying here can park 2 cars with car trailers in the backyard fully secured behind a locked fence and another in the driveway at the front of the property.
