What a lovely holiday home set on the side of a hill overlooking the ocean. Amazing. The attention to detail was so good and it just showed that plenty of love has been given to this place.

The only problem was a noisy refrigeration unit at the rear of the property behind a craft brewery. The owner of the apartments has been trying to get this distraction toned down. Our unit was double glazed so you couldn't hear it that much inside. The owner Karen was very welcoming and helpful.

Easy access and parking. Booking process and communication was good. Downstairs, bathroom, kitchen and living areas were roomy.

I must admit that when I saw the property I was very disappointed .advertised as a lake view on the bay,It was a mediocre motel at best and the lake was a dirty children’s play pool really but dirty and I would never have let any children of mine anyway near it.

Bicheno was very enjoyable and a great location to stay a few nights and enjoy the surrounds. Well located to do day trips north or south along the east coast. Enjoyed the Penguin Tour. Very scenic location.

Bicheno is a lovely small town that caters for all needs.
Bicheno is a lovely small town that caters for all needs. The coastal walk are some of the best in Tasmania with the flat granite boulders bordering the town, through to the blow hole are far superior to the Bay of Fires.

Our accommodation was great, the view was amazing.
Our accommodation was great, the view was amazing. Sadly, we were unable to view the penguins. A lot of people chose to ignore the sign with instructions on viewing process. I would go back there again, although there is not a great deal to do, it was quiet, pretty and very relaxing.

What a lovely beach town Bicheno is.
What a lovely beach town Bicheno is. We used it as our base to discover the beauty of Freycinet National Park, but we could have definitely stayed a few more days just lazing around our amazing accommodation.

Bicheno was a great place on the east coast of Tassie.
Bicheno was a great place on the east coast of Tassie. The town offered more than I had originally thought. If you love to surf then this is the place for you! We enjoyed Natureworld which is a nature park that offers night experiences with the Tasmanian Devils (we did this tour and it was AMAZING!!). There are also tours for penguin watching which sadly we didn't have time to do. There is an amazing place called Governors which is fabulous for coffee & breakfast. The bakery does lovely food and the takeaway options for lunch and or dinner are great too. Bicheno is very easy to get around, and with many beaches within a stones through it is great for all ages. If we visit Tassie again we'll definitely go back to Bicheno!

Shane's messages were amazing regarding access- Thank you!
The accommodation was close to central business district and included scenic views and access to the beach.
There was a heat pump and very clean floors and all the basics.
The room was away from noise and noisy guests and had 2 beds per my request.
modern artwork in the room was enjoyable for the theme of the town.
The sunrise was the best I have seen in Tasmania and on my to-do list for years
Very relaxing!
We loved our stay. The cottage was excellent. Very spacious and scrupulously clean. The attention to detail and all the little extras was excellent. We could see that a lot of thought had gone into making sure there was everything guests would need. We can honestly say that while travelling around Tasmania your accommodation comes out as the best place We have stayed at. All at a very good rate. Many thanks
The location is beautiful, private hotel entry to the beach and the island! Gorgeous hotel grounds with a swimming pool, snooker room, and pagoda for BBQs with indoor seating if it is raining! The cottages are lovely, spacious and clean! Owners are very welcoming, super friendly and helpful!
