friendly staff, clean room, quiet location, beautiful outlook
The newly remodelled Kyah is a renovated motel, set on two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in a quiet backstreet in the Blue Mountains' bohemian Blackheath.

We were relying on the advertised electric bikes, as we did not have a car. There were no electric bikes only push pedal and lots of hills. The photo on the internet showed a very diverse breakfast selection but breakfast was basic. The guy at checkin had very little knowledge of walks and transport.
Located in Blackheath, within the UNESCO world-heritage listed Blue Mountains, Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges Blue Mountains offers free WiFi and a restaurant.

Please put on your post this is no disability suitable. I had to book other accomodation. I'm sure council has not approved the access to this site. Pissed off. My poor Pensioner families holiday was ruined. No one would help us.

The space was small, but beautifully decorated and functional. Location was great, quiet and a lovely walk to the dog park. The fire pit and barbecue one night was wonderful. Our hosts were brilliant and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

Tiny town adjacent to Katoomba. 15 minute drive.
Tiny town adjacent to Katoomba. 15 minute drive. We had our meals in Blackheath because most stuff were closed on Monday when we were there. Would've loved to try the local hatted restaurant but unfortunately they were only opened on Thurs-Sun!
Lovely place to explore the blue mountains with our dog!

Great main street in Blackheath, the little arcade has some lovely bookshops, most of all I was incredibly impressed with the record store in the arcade, their selection was so vast and had pressing from all over the world. If you're into music I'd highly recommend checking it out.

There are some very lovely antique shops that you could spend hours at looking at everything and very nice and classy boutique nick nack, clothes and shoe shops in Blackheath. The cafes have yummy food. It's ok to visit for a day and then visit other parts of the Blue Mtns like Leura and Katoomba on other days. Blackheath is a good place to stay when visiting the private open gardens in Mt Wilson like Nooroo Gardens and the majestic Breenhold Gardens 30 minutes drive away in Spring and Autumn.

Location is central to Blackheath, the rooms are located away from the main road, didn't hear any traffic. Rooms are basic but suited our needs, rooms are heated, and the bed was comfy. Didn't eat at the bistro but the menu looked good, and of course its a pub, so easy to have a few drinks.
It was easy to reach by car and you are in the middle of many tracks and hikes you can start in the Blue Mountains. Lovely spacious loft, with all you need, in a cute cottage (4rooms in one cottage) with gardenview.
Kyah is a beautiful, comfortably sized boutique hotel
located very near Evans Lookout/Grand canyon carpark.
Amenities are complete and room is clean.
would definitely stay here again when I next visit blue mountains
