AustraliaThe room was smaller than we thought and a bit scrappy. Don’t like triple sheeting. Restaurant was lovely and staff were great. Our room was a bit disappointing, paint peeling off the bathroom door. Just not a four star experience in comparison to other properties we have stayed at.

AustraliaThis house is very conveniently located a short walk to the centre of Bowral and many restaurants, cafes, galleries, gardens etc. It is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is great should you want to cook and eat in. Breakfast, tea/coffee making facilities and supplies are ample. We had a choice of fruit, cereals, breads and crumpets, spreads, coffee pods for a Nespresso machine and tea bags. We loved the comfort of the lounge area to relax and enjoy the sun streaming in. Highly recommend this for a stay in the Southern Highlands and we will stay again.

Bowral is a beautiful town with its picturesque landscape and surrounds plus the best bakery south side of Sydney :)) The Gumnut Bakery is a must, and the Berida Hotel is exquisite in food, drinks and hospitality. The are an array of wonderful shops and place to go like the Gibraltar Lookout. Yiannis is great for lunch or to grab some picnic goodies. The lovely historic cottage was so comfortable with sufficient heating. We didn't miss television, in fact it was good not to have it. Bowral is quite busy during the day with car spaces at a premium even though there are quite a lot of parking areas. We parked on the street, finding two parking spaces for our two cars and walked to the closest cafe Le Gastronome and had a delicious lunch with friendly staff and heated plates to keep our food hot.Guest review byrobynAustralia - Review score8.0

Bowral was very busy during the weekend stay. Enjoyed wandering around the CBD and popping into the many interesting shops. Plenty of options for coffee/morning/afternoon tea. My two daughters enjoyed the swimming pool and gym while we played golf. Bowral is about 10 minutes away from the hotel. There were so pretty cafes and antique shops.We had lunch and dinner in Bowral. Bar in the hotel is really good as well. Also my husband left his glasses in hotel. They sent glasses to my house. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the toiletries were delicious Molton brown and I even found a Dyson hairdryer in the bathroom- a lovely luxury. The restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there.
