Just 5 minutes’ drive from Brisbane Airport, ibis Budget Brisbane Airport offers air-conditioned accommodation with free parking. Accessed via stairs only, all rooms have a TV and a private bathroom.

Great location if you just need to overnight to catch a flight next morning. Rooms are compact, though clean and tidy. They are well priced, though less luxurious compared to other hotels with similar proximity to the airport. About 10 minutes drive to the domestic terminal. Location is very safe. Not many eating options close by but if you are up for a 15-20 minute walk there are some good places you can find using Google Maps.

Clean, comfortable, great location and reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Would stay here again just for a night in the city if I’m looking to not spend too much money and needed somewhere within walking distance to the CBD.

Amora Hotel Brisbane is situated only 300 mtrs from Central Station and within walking distance to The Queen St Mall, Treasury Casino, Suncorp Stadium and the entertainment precincts of Howard Smith...

We booked the hotel at shirt notice due to a cancelled flight and were very very pleased with our stay here. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - we didn’t want to leave! The staff were helpful and we enjoyed making use of the pool, sauna and gym facilities. Reasonably priced especially in comparison to the airport hotels. Also well located in the centre. Will definitely consider returning to the Amora and making use of their hotels in other destinations!

The staff were wonderful. It was raining very hard the day I checked in. The ladies saw that I was going out, so they asked me if I wanted to use an umbrella 🌂. I thought this was a lovely touch.

FAQs about hotels in Brisbane

Sun-Drenched and Leafy

At the meeting point of Australia’s Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, laidback Brisbane is spread around the meandering river running through it. The river’s arty South Bank is home to Australia’s largest modern art gallery, tranquil gardens and an artificial beach. Just opposite is the towering skyline of Brisbane's CBD, where many hotels in Brisbane city centre are located.

Nearby are the botanic gardens and Queen Street Mall, the most popular Brisbane shopping spot. More shopping centres are found all over the city, and the out-of-town malls include one in the Indooroopilly suburb by the foothills of Mount Coot-tha.

This green hill offers fabulous city views and has a planetarium, nature reserve and yet more botanic gardens. In Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to the south you can hug one of the loveable animals, while Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin’s legacy – is a good day trip.

Brisbane is a very leafy city and one of its parks – Wickham Park – contains the Old Windmill, Brisbane’s oldest building. To the north-east, the Fortitude Valley suburb is known for its vibrant music scene and Chinatown. Across the river in Woolloongabba is The Gabba or Brisbane Cricket Ground, and nearby is the bohemian West End district.

As well as central accommodation, Booking.com also offers hotels near Brisbane Airport in a north-eastern coastal suburb.

Visited Brisbane after 2 years is a great experience. City modifications and constructions are still going on. Roaming in the city is wonderful. I enjoyed most of the time in Queen Street mall and Food court. Brisbane is safe city with lots of public transport facilities. South bank and river view is always give me an amazing feeling.

A warm and friendly city with great options for visitors on holidays. Public transport is easily accessible especially to places like Southbank and the City centre. The City Cat ferries are a great way to see Brisbane from the river and there are a multitude of first class food venues to choose from.

Bribane is easy to navigate with great public transport , the river playing a large part of the city's life. With it's constant flow of ferries , catamarans, and river cruises, it is an easy and delightful way to navigate the city surrounds. With a beach at it's heart , Southbank also sports the Museum, Performing Arts Centre, 2 Art Galleries+ has many and varied places to eat. The city centre is vibrant and alive not just for shopping but for the music and events that take place there. It is a young and growing city, a blend of old and new, mostly sunny days and friendly people

Loved everything Brisbane had to offer and could have stayed much longer exploring. The music scene was diverse and something for everyone. Theatre, arts, restaurants spoilt for choice. Southbank alone has so much to offer from the beach pool, stunning walks and street culture.

The location was very good, with Southbank, South Brisbane, West End and the city with easy walking distance. There was a very good cafe across the road (and a worthwhile one downstairs) and good restaurants nearby. On-site parking was desirable and there were several supermarkets within a few minute’s walk. The A/C worked and the in-room laundry appreciated. The apartments are relatively new, which made it more tolerable.
