Was able to leave my bags with the front desk as my flight arrived early and they accomodated an early checkin if they could and they were able too, which was perfect, staff were very accommodating and helpful. Room was super spacious and a full kitchen. Definitely would book again!

Ideally positioned within the Brisbane Airport precinct, this Novotel hotel offers modern rooms and suites, restaurant, bar and 24-hour reception.

Excellent. I would caution hotel on one thing. Because of the humidity and the type of floor used in rooms, I would use a runner mat as you enter room because the floor collects condensation and could pose a slipping issue especially for the elderly. Folks most helpful that we encountered: Taylor, Sarah, Lucy, Daniel and one other who ordered a pizza for us from domino’s to have delivered to room. Very friendly Australia people and most impressed and kind. And, very professionally ran hotel. Would stay again!!

Ideally located to explore the best of Brisbane, Kennigo Hotel Brisbane, Independent Collection by EVT is located in the historic suburb of Spring Hill, just 1.2 mi from the heart of the CBD.

The staff member offered free brekky to make up for the shower not draining properly the first night. It was certainly not necessary, but very appreciated and brekky was yum!

FAQs about hotels in Brisbane

Sun-drenched & Leafy

At the meeting point of Australia’s Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, laid-back Brisbane is spread around the meandering river running through it. The river’s artsy South Bank is home to Australia’s largest modern art gallery, tranquil gardens and an artificial beach. Just across the river is the towering skyline of Brisbane's central business district, the location of many hotels in central Brisbane.

Nearby are the botanic gardens and Queen Street Mall, the most popular Brisbane shopping spot. There are more shopping centers all over the city, and the out-of-town malls include one in the Indooroopilly suburb by the foothills of Mount Coot-tha.

This green hill offers fabulous city views and has a planetarium, nature reserve and yet more botanic gardens. In Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to the south, you can hug one of the lovable animals, while Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin’s legacy – is a good day trip.

Brisbane is a very leafy city and one of its parks, Wickham Park, contains the Old Windmill, Brisbane’s oldest building. To the northeast, the Fortitude Valley suburb is known for its vibrant music scene and Chinatown. Across the river in Woolloongabba is The Gabba or Brisbane Cricket Ground, and nearby is the bohemian West End district.

Booking.com has plenty of downtown hotels, and other accommodations near Brisbane Airport in a northeastern coastal suburb.

Brisbane is a like a mini version of Sydney. If you want to see the Gold Coast / Byron Bay you need to venture out. Brisbane offers a good selection of bars / restaurants but please note it is a City so as a City it’s nice as a base..

Visited Brisbane after 2 years is a great experience. City modifications and constructions are still going on. Roaming in the city is wonderful. I enjoyed most of the time in Queen Street mall and Food court. Brisbane is safe city with lots of public transport facilities. South bank and river view is always give me an amazing feeling.

A warm and friendly city with great options for visitors on holidays. Public transport is easily accessible especially to places like Southbank and the City centre. The City Cat ferries are a great way to see Brisbane from the river and there are a multitude of first class food venues to choose from.

Bribane is easy to navigate with great public transport , the river playing a large part of the city's life. With it's constant flow of ferries , catamarans, and river cruises, it is an easy and delightful way to navigate the city surrounds. With a beach at it's heart , Southbank also sports the Museum, Performing Arts Centre, 2 Art Galleries+ has many and varied places to eat. The city centre is vibrant and alive not just for shopping but for the music and events that take place there. It is a young and growing city, a blend of old and new, mostly sunny days and friendly people

Arrived late looking forward to a nice room. Room was disappointing at back of hotel overlooking air con units Small For such a good Hotel Chain as Ibis who we have stayed with many times it was a let down.

Loved everything Brisbane had to offer and could have stayed much longer exploring. The music scene was diverse and something for everyone. Theatre, arts, restaurants spoilt for choice. Southbank alone has so much to offer from the beach pool, stunning walks and street culture.

The location was very good, with Southbank, South Brisbane, West End and the city with easy walking distance. There was a very good cafe across the road (and a worthwhile one downstairs) and good restaurants nearby. On-site parking was desirable and there were several supermarkets within a few minute’s walk. The A/C worked and the in-room laundry appreciated. The apartments are relatively new, which made it more tolerable.

Location of this hotel is great. Walking distance to CBD and Southbank where our business conducted. Room was excellent, spacious and good aminities. Although external is a bit outdated, but internal renovation was done beautifully and modern.

Very nice hotel, friendly check-in staff, roomy apartment, very comfortable beds, large flat screen TV's in every room, espresso machine, walking distance to the shopping area of CBD, or a bit further to Southbank.
