It wasn’t until we reached the hotel we were told no food or beverage on site was operational and the main pool wasn’t open. A shuttle was offered to sister hotel but due to work commitments at the hotel at that time, I wasn’t able to use this and was unable to purchase any food or drink. Other people from town were coming down and also unaware of the close. Small pool was open but heated and big enough to cater to all guests so very crowded.
Room was lovely and spacious and location was good. With working facilities it would be great but I was very disappointed by lack of communication and no compensation was offered, even when I spoke to staff. I wouldn’t stay again based on customer service.
Situated amongst tropical gardens with stunning views over Roebuck Bay, Mangrove Hotel offers a variety of accommodation types and a choice of 2 restaurants and 2 outdoor swimming pools.
Centrally located on the Broome Peninsula, Broome Time Resort offers self-contained accommodation with a flat-screen TV and DVD player.

The room I was in was next to the after hours gate and the stairs to the next floor up. There was noisy traffic in and out of the gate and up and down the stairs until late, then again early morning. The toilet was not clean. At $220 per night, I don't think it is ideal to ask the patrons to empty their bins and put the rubbish in the bins way outside. I come in to Broome from the country for appointments. I probably would not stay here again.
This stylish budget resort is just 250 metres from the famous Cable Beach. You can relax in the outdoor pool or enjoy a game of pool at the bar.

The location: walking distance to cable beach, restaurants, cafes
The rooms: I stayed in the 3 bed female dorm, I’ll admit that when I booked and looked at the pictures I felt a bit skeptical as the beds looked really close together and not very nice on the photos. However! When I got there , the room is actually very spacious and the beds are spread out, there is enough room to store your belongings, plug sockets next to the bed, storage, the bed was comfy, it was very clean! They give you bed linen too.
Facilities : I liked the pool, the bar is open during the day but shuts early, therefore, no parties at night I got a good sleep as there wasn’t loud noises or music , very relaxed atmosphere, free WiFi and places you can sit and watch movies on your laptop if you wanted
Centrally located in Broome, this 4-star hotel offers an outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy views of Roebuck Bay and on certain dates experience the magnificent Staircase to the Moon.

It was a lovely place to stay. The rooms are great. They have a little kitchen with everything you need. The bathroom is outside. If you don't want to go to the toilet outside, i suggest you get the rooms that have both an inside and an outside bathroom. It was fun to shower outside.
The pool was so warm, and the gardens were beautiful. There is a massage place on the premises. I can highly recommend the head massage.
The staff were so lovely. They actually escort you to your room. They offer free wifi and pool towels are provided. It's a short walk to Cable Beach and an even shorter walk to the tavern and coffee shop.

Broome is a unique place. The natural environs, red sands, abundant birdlife, mangroves and tidal mudflats plus surprise dinosaur footprints and the blue blue waters were pristine and magical. You need at least 4 days or more to take it all in. The museum is a must. Add Broome to your bucket list today!

We went at the start of December and everything begun to close for off season, most restaurants had closed but those open were quiet. It’s lovely to walk around cable beach anytime of the day and water was lovely temperature.
Highly recommend getting a car.

Very interesting - once in a lifetime adventure.
Very interesting - once in a lifetime adventure. We enjoyed immensely our trip to Broome. We ate at the pub, Matso's and at The Continental. We also lunch at some cafes. We caught the hop on hop off bus for a day which was very well run with good drivers. We were able to go to Cable Beach and other places to look around for an hour before we caught the bus again. We also walked a lot around Broome and also to and from The Continental which wasn't too bad as there was a nice breeze. It would be hooter at other times of the year.
We went to Horizontal Falls which was amazing and the highlight of our trip.

I love Broome.
I love Broome. It has an interesting history but also a tropical seaside town feel to it. The colours are amazing with the red earth and aquamarine coloured water. There are great tourists attractions from marine wildlife watching , meeting artists at the local markets and many great eateries. The weather is hot but the water is warm on most days. Everyday in the dry season is perfect swimmimg weather. At a recent whale watching tour we saw 15 humpback whales in total, migrating down the coast, which was an incredible experience.

Being right in the heart of the Kimberleys meant that Broome was a great stopping off point for the excursions we chose to take. Plus the town itself (China Town) was clean and tidy and reminiscent of days gone by. The staff at the Information Centre were helpful and friendly.

Great set up and facilities. We had a three bed villa and each room had their own generous sized bathroom - all very tidy. Kitchen and lounge room were great and well furnished. Very comfortable and clean and everything you needed in a self contained villa. Pool was lovely and plenty enough to cool off. the best thing would have to be the air conditioners - worked like a dream in each room!!! Fantastic and much needed in Broome heat/humidity.
Although a bit out of the main town, we didn’t find this an issue as it was the only hotel located right on cable beach. We loved how close it was to cable beach and how much there was to do at the hotel , including pools, gym and restaurants. Loved the free drinks and snacks poolside on a Friday afternoon.
Staff were friendly, mostly they were lovely young French and Belgian people who were very polite and sweet. A good continental breakfast was complimentary and the hotel was well located, with walking distance to Cable Beach.
The range of accommodation options were good. I felt safe as a solo traveller. There was a bus stop close by to get around Broome. Walking distance to Cable Beach and Spinifex Brewery just across the road.
Great value for money in Broome and good location, near Cable Beach, Divers and Spinifex. The two bedroom was spacious and had a nice living room and kitchen area.
