Boasting a garden, Buchan Motel is situated in Buchan. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. At the motel, rooms have a patio with a mountain view.

Small, well equipped room with sliding door onto verandah/deck with views over the township and hills beyond, bar fridge stocked ready for your very generous continental breakfast.(fruit, juice, cereal, toast, spreads, tea, coffee), modern, good sized bathroom, comfortable king bed, air con. Central to all Buchan has to offer. Vinyl flooring which was perfect for us as we were travelling with a guide dog, who was welcomed, no question.

Perfect location with lovely maintained garden surrounds and close to the caves. Cosy warm room, comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom which looked to be newly renovated. The shower was excellent.

Buchan is a small town, famous for its caves and not too far from Melbourne CBD. There are many scenic spots near the caves. If you want to escape hectic city life and immerse yourself in nature, it’s definitely worth exploring.

The Buchan Caves are worth a tour, having lovely decorations and informative guides. The surrounding Reserve has plenty of picnic areas, and a smallish swimming pool, fed by waters from the caves system. It's also worth a visit to the nearby Bluff and swimming holes.

Beautiful little country town in East Gippsland.

Beautiful little country town in East Gippsland. Lots to do and see if you like driving to the various places nearby. The caves were an amazing natural wonder. The local pub serves FANTASTIC meals and the other small shops were invaluable, the staff in all places are super friendly.

Great little town for a relaxing getaway from the big smoke.

Great little town for a relaxing getaway from the big smoke. Very rural so the air is fresh and invigorating. There's a pub and a roadhouse if you don't want to cook but there is a general store in town for basic supplies. The caves are a short walk out of town. Friendly locals of the human and animal variety. If you use any other phone network than Telstra you may have trouble getting a connection in town. The signal picks up a few minutes down the road towards Lakes Entrance though. Lakes Entrance is about 40 minutes away if you want a beach or fish and chips.
