Great beaches plus good walks along beaches. A walking track is currently being put down over old railway line and extends along beach area. Great down town area with beach side bars and restaurants. Burnie is an ideal base to explore Stanley and other seaside areas. Good base to go to Dove Lake and other wilderness areas. The property itself is located literally 4mtrs from a 6 lane main Rd and the traffic noise was so bad we had to keep the TV on. We got no sleep.
