Camperdown Cascade Motel offers free WiFi and free on-site parking. It offers a spacious garden area with covered BBQ facilities.

Even though it's on sin road, the rooms are back off the road, so much quieter than another motel on the same street we've also stayed at. Truck stop next door is convenient and playground close by.

The rooms were extremely warm and comfortable and decorated with antiques which gave a nice heritage feel. The shared lounge was clean and had good facilities. Plenty of hot water and availability for a shower. Really excellent value.

Cobden Crest Cottages offers accommodations in Cobden, 21 miles from Port Campbell National Park and 28 miles from 12 Apostles.

Our host was lovely and showed us around the accommodation and all the interesting local memorabilia that her family had collected, I love stuff like that! She also provided us with some fresh homemade bread and plenty of breakfast goods. The beds were comfortable and the accommodation has plenty of space inside to spread out. The kids enjoyed hanging out in the games room. The views were stunning and it was so peaceful

The Botanic Gardens are small but oh so beautiful.

The Botanic Gardens are small but oh so beautiful. It was so fascinating to learn more about the volcanic past of this area. We loved wandering the streets and looking at the architectural features and unique landscape surrounding the town. Friendly locals and old fashioned country manners. We drove out to other areas to explore more, just amazing! Loved everything about our weekend stay.

We loved the tour of the Clock Tower, the view from Mt Leura for sunset and the Lakes around the area. The Hampden Hotel was a great place to eat with a good variety on the menu - booking essential. The Lake Edge Cafe was the perfect place for lunch with a serene outlook and delicious meals. The Botanical Gardens were beautiful and peaceful overlooking the lakes and town.

Camperdown is a lovely town with lakes and gardens and historical sites such as the ClockTower. People are friendly. There is plenty of cafe's and shops with two main supermarkets. It is a good place to stay and drive to the great ocean road.

Although I had aimed to stay 2 nights, could only stay 1.

Although I had aimed to stay 2 nights, could only stay 1. Camperdown itself is a town with a 2 klm avenue. It has some beautiful historic buildings and the towns history is worth researching. Not far from Camperdown you have Lake Edge Cafe at Tesbury on the Purrumbete Estate. On leaving Camperdown on my way to my next destination on a very wintry day, I visited and was greeted with a very warm welcome by all the ladies working there. The coffee was excellent along with the view across the lake. On my next visit I will be sure to return, not just for coffee, but for lunch.

    It was just so nice.

It was just so nice. Lots of great buildings to photograph or just admire. The Visitor Information Centre was great and there were plenty of choices for breakfast/brunch, though I probably would avoid the The Loaf and Lounge. Sign out front should have told me. It said "Be nice or leave" which to me is a bit off, especially when you walk in the place and it isn't super busy and the staff seem to be waiting for someone to be nasty. There were other places that were doing a roaring trade and obviously don't have an issue with the clientele.

It's always a pleasure staying in Camperdown and the Manifold Motel fits the bill well. Next time I might request a room on the side as the traffic noise was quite busy all night. The Hampden Hotel was great for meals etc. and the Visitor Information Centre is a must visit, not just for great information, but the excellent selection of gifts.

Mill is a delightful place to stay! The Vicarage was a cosy, comfortable and atmospheric place to stay. The Mill was peaceful and had great access to the sights of Camperdown centre. I will return with family to stay again. Thank you!
