The stay it’s self was amazing, however a day or so after I left I got a charge of $50, when I questioned them on the reason I was told it was the “state of the room” i then asked what this “state” was and was told it would be investigated and since then they will not reply to my emails and tell me. I assume this state is all the stains that were on the floor when we entered the room, which I took photos of luckily, the roof also started to leak which we informed reception on when we checked out as it had only started about an hour before when we had woken up maybe they are trying to say that that is also our fault because we can make a roof leak can’t we…

The bungalows are comfortable. We stayed in two different ones— the first one had average cleanliness, and the fifth bed wasn’t prepared, so we had to set it up ourselves. The second bungalow, however, was spotless and very comfortable. What stands out the most about this place is the great value for money, as well as the receptionist. She was always smiling, friendly, and helpful—she let us store our luggage at the complex, recommended places to visit, and assisted us with everything we needed. She was truly excellent!

Very nicely situated away from the hustle and bustle of Airlie Beach but not too far away.
A short walk to Northies restaurant and bar was exceptional, we were able to give our room number so as not having to pay straight away for food and drinks.

We liked the extreme views and space.
We liked the extreme views and space. Freedom Shores and Northerlies were our highlights at Cannonvale. Also the Cannonvale Shopping Centre with Mandy’s Cafe being a favourite of ours. Because we had our car, it was easier to travel to places in the area like Cedar Falls and Peter Faust Dam.
