Accommodation was wonderful, clean comfortable and very modern. Communication was excellent in advising entry to the property and very well stocked mini bar/fridge. Loved that the electric blankets were on warming the bed. Old style record player and vinyl records waiting to be played.

Literally located next door to the best coffee shop in town. It’s located within easy walking distance to everything.
It was very well appointed & stylish. We really appreciated having all the necessities to go with the fire pit and a generous, delicious breakfast provisions. It was all very easy & very enjoyable.
It is your typical country town. Friendly people including the local police officer. Depending on the time of year you choose, there a a number of sites to see as well as being a driveable distance from nearby town with excellent historical sites.

A quiet country town.
A quiet country town. Perenialle Plants Nursery and Emporium was a bonus for breakfast and morning coffee, and an amazing shop. Canowindra Hotel, Canowindra Golf Club Chinese and Gloria’s for meals, and Rosnay Organic wine, olives and figs - a must visit! A good base to explore the region.

Age of fishes museum was great - exceeded my expectations - good value for money as well. Lovely little old town. Best bacon and egg roll at Garden of Roses cafe which is under new management and gradually being restored.

Quaint, charming country town which has retained its character. We visited the fossil museum and found it very well set up and informative. Our main reason for visiting was to have a hot air balloon ride to celebrate my special birthday, which had been interrupted by Covid.

Canowindra has a fascinating, historical main street with many craft/2nd hand book/bespoke gift shops. Also the Museum of Fish Fossils would interest many visitors - there is plenty to see.
The Old Vic Hotel provided a restaurant dining room dinner and Perennialle Plants has a delightful cafe attached to its large gift and plant nursery shop.

The town center is typical of small country towns, in a bit of a time warp but surviving all the same, the towns people as expected are friendly and keen to help. We found the local Return Services club served good meals as did some of the local cafes.
