Very little. MED is advertised as a hotel. There was no bar and no dining facilities and breakfast not provided/ offered.
Our room was a glorified shipping container, 2 small bedrooms with no bedside tables, a very tiny bathroom that had no facility to store your bath accessories. A plastic blind to keep bad weather at bay was marked NOT to be undone.
It was well overpriced at $292 per night.
Would I stay again or recommend it? NO!

I love the serenity and I love the fact that the shops close early. It makes it feel like everyone is on holidays. The local shops have everything you need and it's just a short stroll from the Holiday Park. There are places to eat out at (the bowling club, pizza place, pub, Chinese...)there's a Foodworks, butcher, bakery, chemist, surf shop and a few ladies clothing and giftware shops.

Beautiful beach, lagoon and head land.
Beautiful beach, lagoon and head land. The surfing was amazing to watch. Great breakfast at SLSC - Great value food and great coffee.
The house we rented was not great especially for the price but it was close walking distance to beach and restaurants.

Crescent Head is a fabulous town to holiday in.
Crescent Head is a fabulous town to holiday in. We have been holidaying in Crescent Head since the mid 70s. It has changed a lot over the years, a few good coffee shops and club and tavern serving good food and clothing shops, post office, news agent, butcher, baker. We graduated from staying large tents in the caravan park to staying in cabins and now renting a house when we stay for extended time.

We love the pristine beach at Crescent Head with the cafe at the beach for breakfast and lunch. We love walking up the spit to see the whales and watch the golfers on one side and surfers on the other. Beautiful views across the bay. Sadly it was very windy when we were there. It is important to choose your accommodation wisely so that you have a lovely spot to retreat to when the wind comes up. The restaurants are limited and close early.

Friendly east coast Aussie town with great surf and lovely vibe.
The beach is just a few hundred metres from the town centre and its shops.
The sunset watching the surfing was gobsmackingly beautiful.
I’d recommend staying a while here to soak up the relaxed feeling of Crescent Heads.

We like quirky accommodation and Alice was a lovely example. In a bush setting but handy for Crescent Head and beaches. So much attention to detail by the owner including mozzy spray and candles etc. Comfortable and clean. Love the bathroom though the toilet still gets wet when you have a shower!! (See review in 2023)
