On arrival, Ben was there to meet us and show us to our room.... Ben also had a fire going for us in the lounge... we also had a shared kitchen with 3 brothers... The pantry was well stocked with tea, coffee and all the spices you would need for a good curry... The views and scenery were stunning.. there is also a wee beach just down some stairs which was beautiful.. outside was a very large fire pit with a barbecue to the side... Ben was a lively hist and always had a fire going for us on our arrival back from a day trips... was lovely just to chill with no TV or electronics as we played games at night..

Beautifully appointed, with very comfortable bed and bedding, sofa, kitchenette with everything needed for a night or two, luxury bathroom with lovely amenities. Lovely decoar with artworks on the walls, very tastefully decorated. Very tranquil setting in the country, with splendid apple orchard at the rear, very quiet. The host provided a delicious large loaf of wholemeal bread, with jams and butter - very nice for breakfast, and plentiful that we had some of the bread for our microwaved soup meal we bought with us at night.

The breakfast was more than enough. Judi went to the extra trouble of making some fresh bread and muffins for us.

I didn’t spend a time in Cygnet as I was visiting a friend, but driving through I observed some lovely shops, a twice monthly Sunday market was well patronised, and I visited Ian Clare’s pottery studio across the road from the beautiful bay. I plan to return, so I’m looking forward to checking out the other shops and local sights.

Cygnet is a lovely town in a beautiful part of the world.
Cygnet is a lovely town in a beautiful part of the world. Make sure you enjoy the amazing pizza on Friday nights at the Port Cygnet Cannery venue.... amazingly good, or the live music on Sunday afternoon.

Perfect, well equipped comfortable apartment overlooking the beautiful Bay. This is an exceptional B&B. Bea provided a warm welcome with afternoon tea, loads of extra touches like in the well stocked kitchen. Loose leaf tea, porridge, homemade jam and even marshmallows and hot chocolate. Everything has been thought of to make this a lovely stay. Only a few mins drive into Cygnet, very quiet and beautiful gardens. Perfect for a few days away. Thank you!
Absolutely lovely. Ben and Sassy couldn't have been more welcoming. Clean room in a sweet homestead by the water, with a good kitchen and a cosy fire in the lounge for those cool tassie nights. Look out for the fairy wrens flitting about in the morning on the lawn. Cygnet has good facilities and fuel and is just a few Ks away. Ben runs a bikram studio on site if that's of interest to you, and there's a fire pit by the water for the evening.
Everything was exceptionally presented and every comfort was provided. Facilities were of a high standard and beautifully clean. The location close to some pretty bays and to Cygnet was a big plus. Beate was an excellent host.
We loved how comfortable the bed was. The lounge/diner/kitchenette was well stocked, and the breakfast supplies were good. The property is well positioned for travel to Bruny, Cygnet, and Huonville.
the property was set on a beautiful hill, was totally private but only a few minutes away from Cygnet. lots of wildlife - paddy melons and quolls. stunning
