Property was in a good location.
Needs a huge update to be brought to 2025!!! The oldest tv in history. No access to streaming.
Globes were out in the bathroom, very poor lighting. Difficult to see to get ready.
In desperate need of a paint job with stains from the air conditioner on the wall and flaking paint.

The property had all the amenities we needed. I thought the room would be a bit bigger when we first got there but actually it was sufficient for our needs.
We were surprised there was a fridge as this wasn’t listed on your website, but very pleased to see it as we definitely used it to full effect.
Unfortunately the bathroom and ceiling fan lights weren’t working when we arrived but a quick call to the staff rectified this.
The ceiling fan needs to be thoroughly cleaned as there was a lot of visible dust on it. Similarly there was a lot of dust around and behind the fridge.
The bathroom really needs a fan. It gets really hot and steamy in there and the only way to clear it is to open the door and the window. The bathroom also floods very easily when using the bath and shower. I don’t know how this can be fixed. Having said that, the shower has very good water pressure.
We also had trouble with the TV. The signal dropped out quite a few times and was difficult to adjust. We could only get ABC and SBS channels.
I really liked the period features and the claw foot bath was divine and so relaxing :)
Thankyou for an enjoyable stay.

One of the most beautiful places on this earth especially in Autumn. Great food in the nearby restaurants. Do not miss the Boat house restaurant. The dawn and sunset concert given by the corella cockatoos is beautiful and the lake enchanting at all times of day especially dawn with the mist hovering over the lake then the reflections of the surroundings
Visit the surrounding towns of interest, walk the tracks, lots to do.

I have fallen in love with Daylesford.
I have fallen in love with Daylesford. It is an acceptable drive from the CBD to be transformed into a unique environment that is devoid of city stress.
It has representations of our past in the preservation of original buildings.
Cliffy's Emporium is an iconic cafe. Its gorgeous menu is only matched by the service you will receive from every staff member. But be aware that the popularity of this venue requires advanced bookings. You will not be disappointed.
The Boathouse restaurant nestles on the edge of the Daylesford lake. It has the luxury of employing a renowed chef who will impress you with mouth-watering culinary delights.
There are so many other activities to experience in Daylesford. The list is long so enjoy your special experience at Daylesford.

The high stead house was incredible and one to remember. We loved spending a weekend away here and relaxing amongst the beautiful environment it has to offer. The house was the perfect size for a bigger group and had everything you needed to enjoy a wholesome weekend. The pool adding the perfect touch to our warm Daylesford retreat!
Comfortable beds and space, especially for a family of five. It was a good location to drive to other sights to see around Daylesford and surroundings. Great facilities throughout the house, loved the extra amenities and nice touch from the hosts!
Away is a beautiful and comfortable house in a great location. We enjoyed a warm welcoming set up when entering the house, soft music, relaxing light. Will consider booking this house again next time I am in Daylesford.
On arrival on a cold day in Daylesford when we opened the door the house was so welcoming. The house was warm lights were on and music playing
