EV Chargers available, four bays, for guests. They are not powered on though until you tell them your booking/reservation or find you in their system. Tell them which bay plugged into. Checked in on Plugshare as well.
The location was very central so within walking distance to most of the CBD area and the water where I got to watch the Spirit of Tasmania II arrive from a day sailing from Geelong.

Staff friendly & helpful. Great location coming from the Spirit of Tasmania. Having a great meal at the Bistro on arrival was so relaxing. Great start to a vacation. Bed comfortable. I believe we had an older room. Heating worked well. The outside lights at night did get in around the curtains.
Showers did wet the vanity area floor, but water lovely and hot.

This place is a hidden gem in East Davenport! Very quiet, except for the sound of the surf. Well equipped with dishs and plenty of towels. Nice view of the ocean.
Highly recommend!
Devonport is well located to do further sight seeing.
Devonport is well located to do further sight seeing. I didn't get to see much of the immediate township, however travel along the north coast was great to easily get to places such as Ulverstone, Penguin and Burnie. Launceston is only 100 kilometres in the other direction, plus places such as Sheffield inland are within easy reach and well worth a visit.

Nice people, friendly and sociable.
Nice people, friendly and sociable.
There are some good places to drink and eat.
There is a bit of a nightlife, depending on what you like.
Is quite a small town and it doesn't take long to experience a lot the town offers, however its depends what you are there for and want to do. Is a good location to base yourself whilst touring this part of Tasmania.

The scenic drives and nature walk locations that are within easy driving distance of the city. e.g. Leven Canyon and Gunns Plains cave; geological trail from Table Cape to Devonport along the coast; Sheffield and Railton; nature reserves around Port Sorell. We spent 3 days doing that. Also: Kelcey Tier, the Arboretum, Mersey Bluff, the Maritime Museum, walking tracks around the waterfront parklands and beaches, a dog beach or two nearby. Traffic not like that of a city - lovely and quiet. Easy driving. We ate in our self-contained accommodation at night because we travelled with our small dog and the cottage had a lovely fenced garden for her to use. So this time around we didn't eat out. We enjoyed the walking track on Mersey Bluff, with views along the coast and looked for the aboriginal stone carvings. We drove to nearby Don Heads and at low tide walked over the basalt rocks to the geologically interesting stack and fascinating rock pool life.

We only required a room for an overnight stay, arriving after booking office was closed. Although there was a restaurant attached, we had desired a totally different cuisine, and found a genuine full service Chinese restaurant a short drive away. (China Garden, King St, Devonport

Clean rooms and close to shops.
Clean rooms and close to shops.
The room was exposed to noise form Shipping, trains, traffic and voices in the hallway. The door leading down the stairs to receptions lams shut every time someone uses the door, which is very frequent.
Light enters the room from the closed door and the windows, hard to sleep if room is not dark
TV mount does not permit one to rotate the TV so it can be viewed from the bed.
Staff do not have control over the spare room keys, as they gave a key to our room to someone who proceeded to unlock and enter our room. Fortunately we were there so prevented access to all our belongings. ie Security issues.

Perfect place when coming off a day crossing with the Spirit of Tasmania and wanting to stay overnight in Devonport - about 3 minutes drive from the ferry port. As family of 5, it was a perfect starting point - clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were unfortunately too late for the bistro because the boat ran late, but the menu looked very inviting.
Location is perfect. All the facilities are at a walking distance. Shopping Streets, Maccas, Restaurants , cinemas all at 5 min walking from Hotel. Its just a 7 min drive from Devonport so worked perfect for us after getting down from the Spirit Of Tasmania in night. Room was spacious and perfect for our family of four.
A very new, nicely appointed hotel. Valet parkimg was very efficient and not too expensive. Excellent location. Close to town centre and the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry. They also have an excellent restaurant -- Mr Good Guy.
The location is great. Very convenient and comfortable if you plan to do some activities around Devonport. Very peaceful yet very close to the city centre.
