I didn't expect that I would have a TV and a free coffee and tea set and a fridge. That's comfy and homey. And the security system is good.

We were just passing through, so not much time to sight see.
We were just passing through, so not much time to sight see. Sunset beach caravan park was very nice, right on the beach with good access. We had really good Fish and Chips, just a short drive away, Sunset Fish and Chips. Good quality fish, cooked really well, thin crispy batter, not oily. Order ahead, they get really busy.

Geraldton is a beautiful country seaside town.
Geraldton is a beautiful country seaside town. I was there for work, which is the only reason for me to travel there.
The downside is the some of the population, not all of course but there were are number of outbursts in the streets and around the hotels and supermarkets and constant requests for money and cigarettes from those that don't work. I was approached by an intoxicated man which made me feel very uneasy. A shame really, because it really is a lovely town and mainly full of hardworking people.

I thought that I had been there previously and had a mental image of some beachside locality here in WA that I was sure was Geraldton. But it was entirely wrong: ertainly not Geraldton and I think this was my first visit.

I enjoy geraldton as a short stopover location on my way to the Northwest each year. It has a beautiful beachfront that the council has spent such a lot of money on providing long expanses of grassed and developed areas for families to enjoy. There are different types of outdoor playgrounds for different age groups, there are basketball courts and exercise areas, cafes and bars, and even a rooftop bar. It's a good town to pass a couple days as you travel further up the coast.

Very disappointed in our stay in Geraldton on Monday night.
Very disappointed in our stay in Geraldton on Monday night.
Our accommodation was clean and staff lovely but the actual unit was old dated with a faulty shower head and worst still the door safety lock was broken and unable to be used.
This was disturbing as after returning back from a drive looking for a place to have dinner there were 3 young blokes trying to break into cars .
No response when I tried to contact the motel phone number as it was after 9 pm.
The road noice was also very loud and went on all night.
Consequently I certainly wouldn’t recommend a stay at this motel unless really desperate for accommodation

Some nice things to see and do.
Some nice things to see and do. The waterfront area really pleasant, walking path runs a long way. If you surf there are some nice breaks near the rock jetty outcroppings, limited but there are breaks at the rocks. There are some sweet breaks way out near light house but you best be up for a long paddle and comfortable being wayyyy out. Some nice things to see, lighthouse and up on hill a memorial for ship that was sunk. The town kind of messy to drive around but walking enjoyable.

The property is located out of the main location, but it is a 500m walk to the beach. It is walkable to the CBD area, but not with young kids. It’s under new management, so expecting improvements and will be better in the future. The property is being renovated at the moment. Most items had been updated in our room such as lounge chair and kitchenware. Apart from that the studio self contained unit was perfect for a couple.
Great location in Geraldton. Large comfortable room with balcony and ocean view. Free drink voucher a bonus on arrival.
Free parking at the hotel. Found a lively restaurant Provincial Bar, a short walk away.
