Only an overnight stay, but we were very comfortable and able to get a good night's rest ready for the next day. The room was very clean and well presented with some nice homely touches. The Christmas decorations were a very nice touch at the time we were traveling. We booked ahead and the lady had everything ready for our stay. She was helpful and friendly. Check in was super fast and easy. We had a walk along the street in the afternoon and decided to have dinner at the Highway Hotel where the food and service was great. Gin Gin is a clean friendly little town. The bakery lamingtons are excellent. Thank you.

Lovely, neat little town, lots of nice gardens and trees, some with seating under them. We enjoyed our dinner at one of the two pubs, and we thought the town had excellent parking. A really nice little town.

Gin Gin is a busy little town with everything you need. It’s a good distance from Brisbane to have a break on the way north without having to drive off the Bruce Highway. I found it cheaper to stay in than Childers.

Gin Gin is a cute little town west of Bundaberg (about 45 minutes). There are quite a few shops along the main road to wander through, highlight is The Crystal Shaman. The IGA is well stocked and has everything you need. Everything in town is very easy to navigate and is mostly within walking distance. We felt very safe here, even at night. We travelled over to Bundaberg, stopping at the Mystery Craters - well worth a stop for a minimal fee you get to see this unusual natural formation and the staff given you a personal briefing on the Mystery Craters. A stop at Tinaberries strawberry farm is a MUST - as is their ice cream and play some yard games.

Very convenient location in the middle of town so it was close to everything. The pub below the hotel was amazing!! Food was incredible, defs recommend the parmi :) Only issue was other loud tenants from the pub later in the night but everything else was great. Facilities were very clean considering they are shared and the kitchen was very handy.

Whilst I was here for work, the town is pleasant with good gardens and a central median strip gardens section with kids playgrounds, an excellent modern library and rec centre, good shopping, one of the best second hand bookshops you'll find anywhere, and a number of decent food options at various pubs, apart from at motels, and a terrific bakery.
