Boasting a bar, The Sherwood Hotel is situated in Lismore in the New South Wales region, 30 km from Big Prawn and 43 km from Byron Bay Golf Course.

The floor was extremely loud and creaky when walking on it and the door was very loud when closing. There was also paint falling off my ceiling/a tear in my roof. The bed is extremely comfy though.

So surprised by this motel. It has obviously been freshly renovated to a really nice standard. The rooms were clean and fresh. There was top quality bedding on extremely comfortable beds. Bathrooms were spotless, beautifully finished with really nice amenities provided.

Located in the heart of Lismore, City Motor Inn Lismore features an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and a barbecue area with outdoor seating.

The owner was very friendly and transparent about the safety or lack of safety of the township, which was good to know..

We stayed here as we were visiting Lismore, and it is basically a suburb of Lismore. Where we stayed, you are up high, with gorgoeus views. It was extremely quiet and private. We did not do anything in Goonellabah, but went into Lismore every night for dinner ( it is 10 mins away). I would recommend staying at Invercauld house for a quiet and private getaway/ or as a base to explore the surrounding areas.

A hidden gem nestled in bush surroundings.

A hidden gem nestled in bush surroundings. The until was comfortable, a couple of kangaroos went skipping by in the morning and whip birds made the early morning a great start. The pool is very good . The price was a little more than we would usually pay , it would be good to know if there was a four or five day stay pricing . Overall very good

As we had come for a family member's wedding, we didn't actually visit the area while doing 'wedding preparation' things. Found the whole area beautiful and GREEN with its rolling hills and mountains. Lucky if there is a straight road as everything is mostly all corners! Ballina Wall was lovely!

Great central location between Ballina and Lismore.

Great central location between Ballina and Lismore. A leafy area with gorgeous mountain and valley views. Country feel with all the amenities, cafes, restaurants and entertainment that one could need. Great Indian food and 2 shopping centres nearby.
