We went to a Brandenburg concert at the St Peter & Paul’s Old Cathedral, a magnificent 19th Century church constructed from green stone/diorite porphyrite, the only one of such in AU. It also housed the only unaltered William Hill organ in Australia. Great venue and acoustic was wonderful. Visited family in Crookwell.
Visited family in Crookwell. Walked to local cafes and restaurants. Drove to Goulburn Old Cemetery to visit relatives. Great coffee at the Park Cafe. Goulburn has a lot of history, some great architecture and plenty of places for dining. There are 2 very good cubs, the Soldiers and the Workers, which are fabulous venues, but also many others, such as the Hibernian Hotel, which is possibly the most popular place to eat in Town. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious (for a hotel room). Fabulous location with fast food outlets a short walk away and the famous Trappers Bakery at the end of the driveway.
