The service was good and ready for us. Inside was clean.
The Beach Motel Hervey Bay is located in tropical gardens directly across from Shelly Beach. The motel offers simple, value accommodations and is a great starting point for Fraser Island.

The rooms were nice with lots of room. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms worked well. Pool was nice. Kids loved it. Location was great - beach across the street and shops just an easy walk down the road. Many restaurants (in the shops area) were closed on Tuesdays and so we had a bit of a challenge finding something to eat. But there were two grocery stores which gave us some options.
Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa offers apartment style accommodations opposite the Urangan Beach Pier. Located on the waterfront, it features 2 lagoon pools and a restaurant.

Absolutely amazing big warm swim pools, state of the art! Beautiful big lobby with super friendly helpful girls working at front desk! Easy drive up to check in area! Used both Salt & Baywater restaurants. Both had great food. Baywater was always very very very cold!!!!???? Tell them to turn a/c up! All customers were putting on jackets & sweaters if they were lucky to have one with them.

I loved the variety of plants and tree’s right out my front door. I loved the peacocks and it was very quiet. The cabin was just the right size, was nice and homey.

The Aquarium is worth a visit.
The Aquarium is worth a visit. Accom was in a good location -quiet from traffic. Lovely to walk along the river. As purpose of trip was to view a house for potential purchase I had less time than I would have liked to visit the beach and go on local boat trips. Feedback from other guests staying at the Beach Motel told me about their great experience on a day trip to Fraser Island. I plan to return and do so on my next trip.

This is a retirement village overall and virtually no kids around which lacks life and energy. The esplanade needs a really good make over as the strip is run down on both the beach and street side. Presentation of businesses is poor. We recommend staying down the south end as the food and energy is better. Also do not leave order fish and chips late. Most locations stop taking orders by 6:45pm and doors closed at 7pm. A rather a poor business outlooked we had experienced at most locations except for the bigger bars and steak houses.

Torquay beach was lovely had lots of food coffee businesses.
Torquay beach was lovely had lots of food coffee businesses. The shop fronts further up towards Torquay were a bit dirty and shabby a guerney would make a big difference. Lots of noxious weeds on foreshore as well. But overall a lovely experience.

Stayed at Beachside Motor Inn, Hervey Bay (Pialba) which is a great pit stop to do click and collect Woolworths or Coles shopping order before catching the Riverheads ferry to Fraser Island. Ferry departure point is only 23min away. We are at the Beach Side Hotel - Bistro side, for dinner on the night of our star. Excellent food and drink options. For breakfast the next morning, you cannot miss Enzo’s on the Beach. Booking essential! Open from 6:30AM.

Hervey Bay is so relaxing and laid back I wanted to stay longer. Amazing!!
Barrel n vine restaurant was the only big fail in the town. The veal was like shoe leather!! No apology given nothing. Very upsetting for a top priced restaurant. There are many other great places to eat. Italian is superb. Check out Enzos

Spacious, comfortable and clean apartments with easy access to a wonderful pool from all apartments. The complex was secure and quiet with many permanent residents.
The apartment was well appointed with a full kitchen and comfortable beds.
Near to the Hervey Bay Boat Club. We organised several boat trips through the Boat Club and they were fabulous. We also had a meal there and enjoyed drinks on the deck.
The resort is not far from the Marina which also has many restaurants and an art gallery.
The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The price for 3 nights at White Crest Apartments was a lot more affordable for me than other accommodation in the area. Therefore, I was delighted when I saw how well equipped and comfortable the apartment was. It really did exceed my expectations! Had it not been so well priced, staying 3 nights at Hervey Bay would have been impossible for me financially, so I really appreciated their reasonable prices.
Great location and very comfortable size unit for our family of four - and with a lovely bath! Worked perfectly as a 1-night stop over on our way to LEI - dining options 2 minute walk from hotel and close proximity to airport.
Thank you!
Our family stayed here overnight before our trip to Lady Elliot Island . The rooms were large, it had a good kitchen . We had no problems at all, It was close to the beach and we would stay there again if we stayed in Hervey Bay.
The perfect location in Hervey Bay. Right on the esplanade and next door to restaurants and a supermarket.
Great value for money, shower was great and the room comfy.
