Spacious rooms, with bunk beds - great for families. The bathroom looks recently renovated, it's clean and large. There is a restaurant inside the hotel which is convenient. The location is good if you have a car, close to the town centre but in a quiet road.
Just a 5-minute drive from the heart of Jindabyne, The Station Jindabyne is 2.5 mi from Lake Jindabyne and a 30-minute drive from Kosciuszko National Park.

Our trip to Jindabyne was nothing short of incredible!
Our trip to Jindabyne was nothing short of incredible! Surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery, we fully embraced the outdoors—camping under a sky full of stars, hiking through stunning trails, and cooking delicious meals over an open fire. Climbing Mt. Kosciuszko was an unforgettable experience, with panoramic views rewarding every step of the journey. We also enjoyed fishing by the river, swimming in the icy water, and reconnecting with nature. Every moment in Jindabyne was an adventure, and we can’t wait to return!

Jindabyne was our lunching pad for the National Park.
Jindabyne was our lunching pad for the National Park. Always enjoy the Takayama Restaurant at the back of Nuggets Shopping Centre. Better to stay here than a summer stay at the Charlotte Pass Stillwell Hotel which has nothing endearing to offer.

I really enjoyed Jindabyne.
I really enjoyed Jindabyne. Just enough shops to keep us interested for a few days. I could have done with a few more restaurants for dinner but it was ok. The Banjo Patterson pub has loads of beers on tap and a lovely view.
It's really easy to walk around town and there are quite a few place for coffee and snacks in the morning.

We hadn't been to Jindabyne since 2009 and I suggest that as far as eateries go, you stick to the arcade in the CBD. That's the one where you can see the Woolies signage from the road.
Lots of good quality options from Mountain Munchies takeaway (excellent chai latte tea according to my wife and the food is above average for a takeaway), through to the bakery and cafe. Bacco's restaurant is well-rated, but it was closed on Sunday this time around.
We went in the off-season and two of the other places we tried beforehand on a Sunday morning were either changing menus and letting their food inventory run out or they offer next to nothing besides jaffles.

Loved our stay at Lake Jindabyne. Easy check in, clean & comfy. My son preferred this one bedroom we shared compared to the large 2 bdrm apartment we had in Canberra. Lovely walking path along the lake. Booked in busy ski season (early July) so prices might be cheaper outside this time of year or if you book well in advance. Would definitely stay again.
The location was excellent, facilities very good. Great base to explore the area.
The breakfast as part of the room price was great. Good variety of food.
We really enjoyed our stay in Jindabyne. It was not the fault of the hotel that we had very noisy neighbours.
Stayed in a small budget style cabin that was equipped for basic level stay. Quiet location and convenient walking access to shops and cafes. Positioned close to Jindabyne lake and foreshore pathways for activities
Great little budget hotel! Owners were really accommodating, friendly and helpful! In a good location and I saw a bus stop just nearby for anyone wanting to bus up the hill. Look forward to staying again.
We booked 2 nights before and were able to pick up a last minute cancellation for quite cheap. Nice that was breakfast was included and in a very central location.
