Room was basic and a bit dated, but clean with comfy beds. Good value. Great food in pub bistro. Best thing is location as my husband and I were attending a concert at a large Hunter Valley winery. The coach picked us up right out the front and dropped us off. Couldn't have been more convenient.

We booked a night here on our roadtrip up north travelling with our 2yo. From the warm hospitality, the complimentary welcome drink, and great atmosphere we knew we landed in the right place. The hotel has Incredible old world charm tastefully decorated and was exceptional value for money. Definitely not a bland, modern hotel thankfully, an increasingly rare find these days. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates an historic space beautifully remodelled that's run by a fantastic couple. The excellent restaurant, live jazz, kitchenette with free coffee, milk (Inc non dairy) treats , cereal etc was fantastic.
