The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay from Geelong is very cheap and enabled both of us to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery for the hour long journey, instead of the stress if navigating a very windy road. Lorne is very quaint and well serviced. There are great foreshore walks to have and some level of fitness is required. Mantra Lorne has fantastic facilities for a holiday. Fantastic greek restaurant named (IPSOS) opposite the Mantra Lorne. Great food and great service make sure you book especially on Friday and Saturday nights for dinner, awesome.
