A wonderfully set up and cosy room for 2 nights.
A wonderfully set up and cosy room for 2 nights. It had everything you could need. Immaculately clean and great off street parking. Very private and a lovely view overlooking the extensive gardens and acreage. The free included continental breakfast was great. The lodge is only 5 mins drive into town. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. If the weather had been kinder, we would have made use of the great looking garden pool. Nice place to stay. Malanda hotel in town served reasonable home cooked meals. Malanda also has Malanda Cafe and also service station across from the pub is open for food 24 hours a day and they serve really good coffee.Guest review byKarenAustralia - Review score8.0

We ate at the Malanda pub; a good pub meal in a beautiful old building. We stopped and looked through the Malanda Dairy Centre which is getting a bit run down but had interesting historical information about the local area and was worth a look. The Lions monthly markets were on; a great place for local fruit and vegetables and other local treats. Nerada Tea Centre is worth a visit and if you are lucky, you might even see a tree kangaroo.Guest review byD4870Australia
